6 Major Project on Airport Management

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The student must submit a Project Report of nearly 100 to 120

Pages. This Project must be prepared based on the functional
areas of an International Airport (All Operational Areas
must be Covered). The Project carries 70 Marks for Project
Report and 30 Marks for Viva-Voce. It has to be valued by
B.O.E Members and Viva-Voce also must be conducted by
B.O.E Members. B.O.E must invite one External Industry
Expert for Viva-Voce Examination.

Chapter 1
Title of the study -functional areas of an INTERNATIONAL Airport
Introduction
Industry profile
Background of the study
History of the airport (the airport that you have chosen)
Compare the past to the recent improvements in the facilities of the airport
Awards received by the airport
Number of awards received and a comparative study on why and how it has
been achieved.
Chapter 2
Review of Literature
Students are supposed to review minimum 10– 15 literatures based on the
study area.
Explanation on the functional /operational areas of the international airport.

should be sound and at par with the findings of the study.

Overall Conclusion about the project needs to be added.
