Exam Instructions

Choose the response that best answers each question. There are 5 choices for each question.

Circle your answers in the exam paper and fill in your answers on the bubble sheet using only
a PENCIL - NOT a PEN. Only the bubble sheet is used to determine your exam score.

Please note the following:

1. You are allowed to have a scientific (not graphical or programmable) calculator in

addition to your financial calculator.
2. The same midterm formula sheet that is posted on the course website will be provided
for you at the start of the exam. You are NOT permitted to bring in your own formula
sheet.
3. NO dictionaries and NO scrap paper are permitted in the exam (you may use the back of
the exam paper or the margins for calculations)
4. NO questions will be answered by the instructors during the exam.
5. If you miss the midterm exam, then you must follow the course policy that is noted on
page 4 of the Course Outline and summarized below.

Policy Re: Missed Midterm Exams (from Course Outline)

There are no makeup midterm exams.

If students miss one midterm exam (for any reason, such as medical), no documentation will be
required and the weight of the midterm (20%) will be shifted to the final exam. The final exam
will then be a comprehensive final exam, that is longer in duration and covers more of the missed
material than the regular final exam.
If students miss both midterm exams, no documentation will be required and the weight of one
midterm exam will be moved to a comprehensive final exam, as outlined above. The other
midterm weight (20%) will be lost, resulting in a maximum possible course grade of 80%.
