With the prevalence of social media, how can you promote goodness in contradicting falsehood and
fake news?
- Fake news is prevalent and people who believe in it become rampant nowadays most especially
during the 2022 national and local elections where there is a conflict between many
contradicting views and opinions. As concerned citizens, we need to correct what is wrong and
do what is right, we shouldn't let lies and deception control humanity. To effectively combat the
scourge of falsehood and fake news, we should first start by providing facts and spreading
authentic pieces of information on our social media accounts and advise everyone to prohibit
themselves from engaging in posts that provide false information. Aside from that, we should
also learn to be more open to other opinions and not be too inclined with our own beliefs, we
should always try to listen when being corrected and always do fact-checking before having
arguments with anyone. I believed that with good communication we can propel understanding
and unity in everyone, there's no need to fight over something we believe and perceive is right,
instead, we should be more compassionate with each other and respect one another.

As a student of ISAT-U, what will you do to promote Intellectual and Moral Virtue? As a student of ISAT-
U, what will, you do to promote Intellectual and Moral Virtue?
- First and foremost, we can't promote something if we can't apply it to ourselves, so the best
way to promote intellectual and moral virtues is through self-enrichment and continuous
socialization and soul searching. As students and individuals, we should always try to go beyond
usual and always be aspired to be better because moral and intellectual virtues are learned
through persistence, passion and dedication. Intellectual virtues are developed through teaching
and instruction, while moral virtues are developed through a process of habituation. The moral
novice needs to practice acting in virtuous ways, and through repetition and experience may
come to develop genuine moral virtue. If we enclosed ourselves with our own beliefs and ideals
we will not learn new kinds of stuff and we will not learn how to adapt to make ourselves better.
As students, we should do our share in honing our capabilities and maximizing our strengths like
joining in school-related activities which can develop our wisdom, compassion, discipline and
integrity like being part of ROTC, and we can also participate in Parish youth ministries to
become holistic individuals, in that way we are not just helping ourselves to attain our full
potential but as well as we are also shaping ourselves to be a role model for everyone, in that
way or possible maybe we can influence others and inspire them to do the same.
