1. The rights of all workers to self-organization

➢ This right means that workers can freely come together and form groups to
represent their interests. Example of this is when there's an underpaid
staff/workers in a store, this right allows them to unite to hold meetings and
discuss their concerns regarding the management about fairer wages, overtimes,
and shorter shifts.

2. Collective bargaining negotiation

➢ This is where a group of workers negotiates with their employer to reach an
agreement on the terms and conditions of their employment. Example of this is

agreement was written to outline a higher wage or a more balanced schedule,
benefiting everyone in the factory.

law.
➢ This right refers to actions workers can take collectively to express their concerns
and achieve better working conditions. Example of this is when the workers
organize a petition or protest peacefully, but if these peaceful actions don't lead
to improvement, the workers might choose to go on a strike as their last resort.
This means they would refuse or not go to work until an agreement is reached
with the management.

4. They shall be entitled to security of tenure

➢ This right protects workers from being unfairly dismissed by their employers.

right will give them respectful treatment from colleagues and supervisors,
fostering a sense of dignity and well-being at work.

6. Living wage.
➢ This is the minimum income an employee needs to afford basic necessities and
maintain a decent standard of living. Example of this is when a staff/worker works
full time for the minimum wage where would be enough to cover their basic
needs without financial strain as they struggle to afford food, rent, debts, transpo,
etc.
7. Participate in policy and decision-making process affecting their rights and
benefits as may be provided by law.
➢ This right allows employees to have a say in matters that directly impact their
work lives. Example is when a worker in a factory with hundreds of employees,
