I PHUMZILE NKOSI have been working for the

company Edgar’s for the past 15 years regarding the

charge we are gathering here for (goss misconduct)
regarding the Estee Lauder foundations

With the hazard count that I did on 7th of July.

According to me when I took the count to Thuli it was
correct, Thuli never came back to me to ensure it was
correctly for. So now I have charged with gross
misconduct of (5 bottles of Estee Lauder foundation)
of which Thuli never came back to me to tell me
about this or investigate the missing bottles of
foundation.

I was not shown footage of the counter on the day of

the stocktaking because I was not present during the
stocktake. Hence I do not know what went down

From the 7th till day of the stocktake, which is the 10th
of July. Everything was just okay and thully didn’t say
anything as well.
It is a grate surprise now that im being charged with
missing foundations after stock take has been done
0n page 9 all the trainings I have done in the store i
never did training for harzard counts my responsibility
was to count and make sure the count is correct and
hand it to THULI , if I was tranned and if I new how to
concilidate to check the system it was going to be
better because I was going to pick up the problem.but
I trusted THULI that she will do a proper consolidation
and come back not me if anything is wrong so she
never came back to me I assumed everything was
right I only found out about this , after stocktake
when THULI came to me with the vibrancy report on
my counter .
So I would love to find out from THULI when did she
pick up that there was a problem with my stock can
she show me the proof of investigation prior before
the day of stock taking
Can I please have proof from THULLY of the
consolidation of my count where it shows I have a
loss before stock take because everyday she needs to
submit harzard count feed back to ANTONEITE so im
requesting that proof cause my stock was balancing
when I counted
MR CHAIRPERSON I will need that feed back of the
paper for the 7th
On page 14 if there was no stocktake THULI was not
going to tell me that stock is missing because she
doesn’t even bother to come and verify the units after
counting. So, I will love to take this opportunity to say
if proper procedure was done, we wouldn’t be sitting
here today
THULLY cannot compromise my 15years of experience
and service to EDGARS because of not doing proper
investigations prior stock take we lost 8 sissy boy at
lady’s brands on the 26th of June it was posted in our
store group broken tags at our stock room [PHOTOS].
In lady’s fitting room was found with these.
With these missing tags was the investigation done?
Who took account of this stock loss?
Did the hazard count balance that day???
With the above issues that I have just outline
MR CHAIR PERSON can there be a consistency and
integrity in the store and I will love to see my fellow
colleagues who are on this department be taken to
hearing just like myself, in saying that I can even call
witnesses right now .
THULI never comes back to us after doing hazard
counts. so how may losses and discrepancies that are
not being accounted for in the store.
In closing I would love for fairness and consistency
transparency with all the counts in the store also can
we please have training done in the store to outline
the companies processes regarding hazard counts.
