cat. The owner was there waiting. Jake and Sarah were so happy that the lost cat was able to go

A Tarsier’s Plea

Hi! I am a tarsier. I am the smallest primate in the world. I live in rain forests. In the
Philippines I can be seen in Mindanao, Leyte, Samar, and Bohol. Each day, our population
becomes less and less. One cause is the destruction of rain forests. People are cutting down
trees and destroying our homes- killing many of us. Also, people hunt us as a source of income
or capture us to become pets. We are so cute that they want to bring us home. Many may not
know it but when we become lonely, we die.
