RESEARCH TITLE

A Comprehensive Study to Understand the Knowledge and Perception of COVID-19 Vaccination Among
Pregnant Women.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant health risks globally, with pregnant women being a
vulnerable population. To mitigate these risks, vaccination has emerged as a crucial tool.

However, there is a need to comprehensively assess the knowledge and perceptions of COVID-19
vaccination among pregnant women attending Kawempe Hospital. Current gaps in understanding and
potential misinformation may hinder vaccination uptake, emphasizing the necessity of identifying areas
for improvement in vaccination education and communication strategies tailored to this specific
population.
