DICTATION KELAS 2

Reading[2x]
Reading is important as it can help us broaden our knowledge and understand better, but
many of us just don't realize its importance yet. Because the rate of people who have reading
habit is pretty low, we should do something to help improving the reading interest in our
society.
Each individual has to know the benefits of reading. By reading, one can get lots of
information and knowledge. By reading, one can understand what's going on around the
world. By reading, one can know better about how to improve oneself and one's life. Simply
speaking, if we want to improve the quality of ourselves, we must read a lot, and we should
not only read fictions like novels, storybooks, and comic books, also non-fictions like
encyclopaedias, (2) science books, history books, and many others.

An invitation to dinner

breakfast. The letter contained an invitation to dine with Mr. Allen the following evening,
and afterwards to go to the cinema.
As there was very little time to answer, Mr. Smith imme- diately took his pen, ink and paper
up to his room and answered accepting the invitation. He decided to walk to the nearest post
office to post the letter before going to his work, but, as he was leaving the house, it
commenced, to rain very heavily he therefore remained at home and waited for it to stop
raining.

At the seaside

holidays. Left the aty very early in the morning on the 31st of July. The weather was not very
fine they wore their overcoats because they felt cold. At to o'clock, the sun began to shine,
and two hours later, when I met them at the station, the sun was shining brightly. They took
off their overcoats and we all went to the same restaurant where we sat down to a good
lunch. We ate fish and some very good mutton, and drank two bottles of excellent wine.
After lunch, we went to the sea, which my little girl Betty saw for the first time. We lay in
the sun for two hours and then we went into the water which was very warm. When we
came out of the water, the sun burn us, so we sat down in the shade of some rocks.

When you travel, you take clothing with you. You put your clothing into trunks or boxes,
into hand-bags or suit- cases. A trunk or a box is large, but hand-bags and suit- cases are not
so large; you can take them with you in the carriage. Trunks are put into the van.
I put my clothing into my trunk. I pack my trunk. The servant (the porter) carries my trunk
down. What do you put into your trunk? Do you carry your trunk yourself? Who carries it?
What do you say to the porter?

Day and Night
The sun, the moon and the stars are in the sky. We see the sun during the day and the
moon and the stars during the night.
We see well during the day because it is light. We do not see well during the night
because it is dark.
Daylight comes from the sun. 2x) The sun gives a strong light, but the moon
gives only a weak light.
If we draw the curtains, pull down the blind or close the shutters, it is dark in this room.
When it is dark, we must switch on the electric light if we want to see.
