In terms of OM No. 12/7/2023-JCA dated 18.01.2024 of DoPT, Ministry of Personnel, Public
Grievances & Pensions, Govt. India, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices,

Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments will be closed for half day till 02:30
PM on 22nd January 2024, to enable employees across India to participate in the celebrations

of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya.

Further, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India, vide notification
No. F. No. 1/41/2003-BO.II dated 18.01.2024 has informed that DoPT’s order in respect of
Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments shall also apply to all Public Sector
Banks/ Public Sector Insurance Companies/ Public Sector Financial Institutions and Regional
Rural Banks.
