Historical Note:
Rollin E. Becker, D.O. was an associate professor in the Department of Osteopathic Philosophy,
Principles and Practices at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated from the Kirksville
College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1934. Rollin E. Becker, D.O. was member of the American
Osteopathic Association, the Texas Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons, Academy of
Applied Osteopathy, and the Texas Academy of Applied Osteopathy and Cranial Academy. Additionally,
he was president of the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation (1962-1979) and the Osteopathic
Cranial Association (1950-1951).
Restrictions: The collection is open for research. Box OS 046 contains an article by W.G.
Sutherland that is restricted from publication. The collection is non-circulating
and can be viewed by appointment.
Provenance: The Rollin E. Becker, D.O. Collection consists of items gathered by Dr. Becker
during his lifetime. His son, Donald Lee Becker donated the collection to the
University of North Texas Health Science Center.
