The National Law College is virtually the bedrock of legal
education and is proud of steering and putting the legal
education on an even keel and producing notable jurists,
luminaries, judges, lawyers and teachers of international
repute and caliber. We take up responsibility to educate and
train promising lawyers, our curriculum and learning
opportunities are designed to prepare students to achieve
successful careers in legal and allied fields.

INTRODUCTION
National Law College is one of the pioneer law college in the private sector imparting valuable legal education since 1988. We take
pride in being an institution that defines the future legal education and we endeavor to create excellent learning environment for our
students which has become evident by the huge number of outstanding alumni contributing in different fields as eminent lawyers,
judges and bureaucrats. National Law College has always believed that legal education is incomplete without an exposure of practice.
Thus, we have set a tradition of holding mock trials and law moot competition Intra colleges and encouraging our student to the
national level competition as well.
The splendid history of NLC is the result of unremitting efforts of highly qualified and proficient faculty and heads. Some of its
Principals has been scholars of international repute. It is pertinent to mention names of Prof. K.L. Kardar and Dr. C.M. Hanif, who has
not only been the Principal of Punjab University Law College but has headed law schools in various African Universities. Presently the
college is being headed by Major (R) Maqsood Ahmad Mann, who is having vast experience of administration & teaching in his credit.
Its committed and forward looking administration along with its highly competent and professional faculty has persistently directed
the institution on progressive and scholarly lines which has earned NLC veneration and established its name in the realm of legal
education.

The Career Counselling Service of the college encompasses counselling, assistance careers
information and job placements. Students are provided with one-on-one counsellors as on
