teaching staff, GPTA President Mr. Norman Morada, alumni, guests, friends, ladies and
gentlemen, a pleasant evening to one and all!
We are gathered here tonight as we celebrate the 2 nd Alumni Homecoming of our dear Alma
Mater, Dapdap Elementary School with the theme “Looking Back and Moving Forward in
Unity”. On behalf of Batch 1997, it is indeed my great pleasure to be given the opportunity to
welcome our alumni and everyone who is present tonight. Please allow me to express my
gratitude towards each and everyone of you present here for taking the time out of your busy
schedule to be with all of us tonight. I believe that the experiences of this evening which you will
take home will be worth the time you have all spared. And your presence will surely make this
reunion a success.
An occasion like this is very important to us, as it provides us the great opportunity and avenue
to meet with many of our classmates, batchmates, schoolmates, friends, and former teachers after
such a long time and to reminisce the good old days in our beloved Alma Mater. I am sure
everyone of us is already feeling the nostalgia. Let us share our stories, experiences in life, and
let’s revive the contacts. Let us rewind our school days when this school started nurturing and
molding us. Let us give thanks and praise to our dear teachers for their dedication and service
that contributed on what we are now and what we have become. Always remember that we are
our school pride, whoever we are and whatever we are.
I hope that this reunion brings you back a lot of heartfelt and wonderful moments of your life.
Our batch has prepared some activities for tonight’s event. I hope everyone will participate and
enjoy. Again, welcome to our 2nd Alumni Homecoming! I wish you all a wonderful evening and
memorable moments.
