TRAINING'S
REFLECTION
I am starting my industrial training at the Corporate Centre
of Senari Synergy Sdn. Bhd. from 3rd March 2023 until 15th
August 2023. In the Corporate Centre we work from Monday
until Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM and will be off during
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.
I was placed by Human Capital Management Department
under Admin Department for my industrial training which plays a
crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the
organization. I had the opportunity to work closely with the
admin team, observing their day-to-day tasks and learning about
the various responsibilities they handle.
During my industrial training, my task involved in listing and
labelling project files, sorting all the documents in the record
room, participating in 5S meetings. I have experience answering
client calls and being involved in office decoration for Raya
Celebration.
I was also involved in the company's events, including video
shooting for Hari Raya 2023 and Senari Synergy Hari Raya Open
House 2023. My industrial training here was included with an
allowance. I gain a lot of knowledge and skills from my training
here. I learned how to manage events and was exposed to the
processes of organizing events.
I also learn to communicate effectively with clients, peers
and top management. Not only that, I have learnt how to be a
multitask-oriented person as I not only have one job given by the
head of office admin at the same time.

9
Based on my experience undergoing my industrial
training at Senari Synergy under the admin department,
this is my swot analysis. For strengths, the admin
department is efficient. The admin department is adept at
managing various administrative tasks, such as record-
keeping, resource allocation, and scheduling, ensuring
smooth operations within the organization. Not only that,
The department excels in maintaining clear and timely
communication channels, both internally and externally,

SWOT ANALYSIS
fostering strong relationships with other departments and
enabling efficient coordination between departments.
As for weaknesses, the admin department had limited
technology adoption. The department may need more
modern technological tools and software, hindering
automation and streamlining administrative processes. Not
only that, insufficient staff capacity causes an increase in
workload and potential delays in fulfilling administrative
responsibilities.
For opportunities, the admin department can explore
opportunities to leverage technology and automation tools
to enhance efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and improve
the overall productivity of administrative processes.
Providing training and professional development
opportunities for the admin staff can improve their skills
and knowledge, allowing them to adapt to changing
demands and effectively manage their responsibilities.
Lastly, the possible threats that I can state here are
external factors. External factors like regulatory changes,
economic fluctuations, or unforeseen events (such as
natural disasters or pandemics) can disrupt administrative
operations and require quick adaptation. Cyber security
threats also can disrupt the smooth operation of the admin
department.
10
DISCUSSION &
RECOMMENDATION
For strengths, I recommend admin department foster good
communication and collaboration within the admin department
and with other departments to enhance workflow and efficiency.
Next, foster a culture of innovation within the admin department,
encouraging employees to develop creative solutions and ideas
for improving processes and workflows.
As for weaknesses, stay updated with technology
advancements relevant to the admin department to leverage
them for improved productivity and effectiveness. I suggest they
hire more staff under the admin department to review and
optimize existing administrative processes to eliminate
bottlenecks, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall
effectiveness.
For opportunities, I recommend they explore and adopt new
technologies and software solutions to automate manual
processes and enhance productivity. Next, they should provide
training and professional development opportunities for admin
staff to strengthen their skills and knowledge in project
management, data analysis, and communication.
Last but not least, for threats, I recommend the admin
department stay updated with relevant laws and regulations
related to administrative functions and ensure compliance
through regular audits and training. Develop clear policies and
procedures and communicate them to all employees to promote
adherence to legal requirements. They should also implement
robust cybersecurity measures, such as firewalls, antivirus
software, and regular backups, to protect sensitive information
and prevent unauthorized access or data breaches. Conduct
training sessions to educate employees about phishing attacks
and other common cyber threats.

11
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, this industrial training has provided a valuable
learning experience and an opportunity to apply theoretical
knowledge in a real-world setting. Throughout the training
period, I was able to gain practical skills and a deeper
understanding of the work environment and the industry. It also
allowed me to work closely with professionals in my chosen field,
learn from their expertise, and develop important professional
relationships. I had the chance to observe and participate in a
wide range of tasks and activities, which contributed to my
overall growth and development. Overall, the industrial training
program has been a rewarding and enriching experience. It has
not only provided me with valuable practical skills and
knowledge but also confirmed my passion for the field. I am
confident that the skills and experiences gained during this
training period will serve as a solid foundation for my future
career development and contribute to my success in the
industry.
