Leader: Being called by our own names is the music to our ears. To magnify the Name of the Lord is a
song of praise to Him. God, Lord, Brother, Friend or simply Jesus: these are how we call Him.
Whichever name we utter to call Him, it is the sweetest music to His ears.

Leader: let us pause for a few moments to reflect on the Gospel we just read and on our answer to
the same question. If Jesus asks you right now, “Who do you say that I am?” what will be your
answer?

Leader: the manner we address the Lord in whichever name we use reflects our experience of
encounter with Him. How do we feel His restoring presence? Do we find Him gentle, tender, faithful
and loving?
