Review Film Joker

Orientation
On 4 October 2019 it was released in all theaters throughout the world of the DC
film which tells the story of the famous batman villain, Joker directed by Todd
Philips. This film is different from the comic that was made in the 1900s which
tells the origin of the formation of this terrible clown. After watching this film I
was amazed and carried over into the story of this film.

Interpretative Recount
Tells the story of the setting of the city of Gotham City in 1985, who lives in
Gotham, Arthur Fleck, played by Joaquin Phoenix, who works as a party clown.
As time goes by as usual, but as time goes by Gotham City is faced with various
threats such as rat pests and rubbish everywhere which makes the situation tense
and uncomfortable to visit. And this is made worse by the mental health of Arthur
Fleck who has a syndrome that causes sudden laughter which requires him to talk
to a psychiatrist and take medication regularly. Without a father figure, the only
friend he had was his old mother, Penny Fleck. In addition to being a party clown
Arhur has a side worker as a comedian in cafes and with the material delivered pay
attention to the TV station coveted by Arthur. It was there that Arthur vented all
the thoughts he had complained of where he lived as insufficient people and the
problems he faced such as misunderstandings about laughing around the
environment so he felt unable to stand up to people who mocked his illness until
he killed people who mocked him.

Evaluation
After watching the Joker movie I was amazed with the flow which was quite
simple, dark and quite emotionally draining. But this film should not be shown
by young children because there are sadistic scenes and are less suitable for those
aged 17 years and under. Compared to the previous DC movie Suicide Squad
which tells the crime of the Joker and his friends who messed up the city of
Gotham, the Joker movie is more towards the life of Arthur Fleck who faced
various problems before becoming a real Joker. With deepening in acting as if the
audience is brought into his life, because the problems faced are not far from what
we experience.

Evaluation of Summary
Overall the Joker movie is highly recommended because the plot is not
complicated and the music in this film is very good because it channels the feelings
experienced by the main character.
