ABSTRACT.

The collectingseng auger is designed in search a way that we can success fuly have a double portion
where by we can obtain both tree seedlings and tree seeds and at the end you won’t have to wait for
the next tree seed lings to be obtained from other seeds.

The collectingseng auger is the hope for restoring our only home earth if we are united.
ACKNOWLEGMENT

Our first and fore most is to thank God for the far he has taken us and for the gift of life he has given us.

Secondly is to thank our patron Ms Thiong’o for guiding us in preparation of this fair and for the
opportunity granted by the school.
CHAPTER ONE .

INTRODUCTION .

A collecting seng auger is a cylindrical metallic equipment slanted at the base that is used to
collect tree seedling. This equipment is closely related to the garden trowel only that it is used to collect
specifically tree seedlings which is contrary to trowel which is used to scoop all significant seedlings and
it is 30 cm long because the young seedling roots are predictably short.

The word collecting seng auger is derived from the English word “collect” and added “-ing” to
form collecting. “seng” has been shortened from seedling. The word “auger” originated from the word
nafoga which was made up of nafu and gar meaning spear.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM.

I visited a forest and saw many tree seedlings, I sat down thought critically and this idea to make an a
collecting seng auger flowed down my thoughts to solve this problem

OBJECTIVES/HYPOTHESIS

1. To recover as many tees as possible.

2. Since it can be used by both learning institutes and interested organizations it helps appreciate
the need for environmental conservations
3. For the sake of future generation.

RELEVANCE/ SIGNIFICANCE .

This set up help save the believable geographical history for the future .

LIMITATIONS.

1. It can rust.
2. Has a sharp base
3. You will need to apply more effort
4. Can only be used on small seedlings .
PRECAUTIONS.

1. Needs to be oiled and greased.

2. Used on moderate ground.
3. Carefully handle the base.

CHAPER TWO
LITERATURE REVIEW

The garden trowel being the most related to this invention. Its history is

A variation of the garden trowel; has been around since the neolithic age, around 10000 years ago.
When people used the shoulder bladders of large like an ox, to remove rocks and soil. They also
produce a small sharp stone into a bone handle which was used for the domestication of plants.
CHAPTER THREE

METHODOLOGY

APPARTUS

1. Two cylinders a small and a big one

2. A handle
3. Slice
4. Oil
5. Pestle
6. Sleeve paper
7. A box filled with tree seedlings

PROCEDURE

1. Cut the base of t he cylinder while slanting

2. Sharpen the base
3. Fix the handle onto the small cylinder
4. Oil the space between the two cylinders
5. Create a hole in the sleeve paper
6. Pick a seedling using the auger
7. Put it carefully into the hole in the sleeve paper
8. Close the hole using soil

OBSERVATION

The handle moves up and down as the base opens and closes

VARIABLES

Soil texture
CHAPTER FOUR
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This will help save time, wasted waiting for the seedling germination

RECOMMENDATION

We would wish to further research on this project and make it perfect with the help of the government
and our school.
