A Pilot Aptitude Test (PAT) is a series of tests designed to measure the specific capabilities of a
potential candidate and suitability of that individual to be a safe and effective pilot.
PATs are used by many flight and airline training organizations to determine a candidate's ability
to succeed in learning and executing tasks in reference to a career as a pilot.
