1. Introduction

1.1 Overview of the Project

A tourist guide system is a fun and helpful tool that uses computers to make traveling more exciting. It can
show you where to go, what to do, and where to eat in a new city. It's like having a smart friend with you on
your trip, giving you all the best tips and tricks to have an amazing adventure. This system can make
exploring new places easier and more enjoyable for everyone who loves to travel and discover new things .

1.2 Objectives of the Project

 Show you fun places to visit and tell you all about them
 Give you ideas on where to go based on what you like
 Make a special plan for your day of exploring
 Have maps that you can use to find your way around
 Let you write reviews and rate how much you liked each place

1.3 Overview of Existing System and Technologies

The existing tourist guide system uses special computer programs to help people when they travel. These
programs show maps, suggest fun activities, and recommend places to eat. They are like smart friends that
give you tips on how to have a great vacation. The technology used includes computers, interactive maps,
and language options to help travelers from all over the world.

1.4 Scope of the Project

Main characters of Tourist Guide System are:

-Admin

-User

Main use cases associated:

Admin can

 Add new tourist attractions to the database

 Update information about existing attractions
 Manage user reviews and ratings
 Create customized itineraries for users
 Analyze user data to improve recommendations

User can

 Search for tourist attractions based on location or category

 View detailed information about attractions, such as opening hours and ticket prices
 Save favorite attractions to a personalized list
 Write reviews and rate attractions
 Plan and organize their sightseeing itinerary

2. Feasibility Study

2.1 Financial Feasibility

The tourist guide system can make money by charging users a small fee to access premium features, such as
personalized itineraries and exclusive recommendations. Additionally, the system can earn revenue through
partnerships with local businesses for advertising or promotions. With more users using the system and
enjoying its benefits, the system can generate income to cover its operating costs and even make a profit.

2.2 Technical Feasibility

Software requirements

-Window (10 or above )

-Internet Browser (Google Chrome, Opera, FireFox, etc…)

-Web Technology (HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript)

-IDE (Visual Studio Code)

Hardware Requirements

-1 Laptop (core i3 or above)

- 64 GB of free Hard Disk Space

2.3 Resource and Time Feasibility

Creating the tourist guide system is feasible as we have access to necessary resources like computers and
software development tools. With a dedicated team working efficiently, we can develop the system within a
reasonable timeframe. By managing our resources effectively and staying on schedule, we can ensure the
successful and timely completion of the project.

2.4 Risk Feasibility

The tourist guide system may face risks such as technical issues during development, user adoption
challenges, competition from existing platforms, and data security concerns. By identifying and addressing
these risks early on, we can mitigate their impact and increase the system's chances of success. With a
proactive approach to risk management and a focus on continuous improvement, we can navigate these
challenges effectively and ensure the system's feasibility.

2.5 Operational Feasibility

The tourist guide system can be operationally feasible by ensuring user-friendly interfaces, providing
adequate training and support for users, establishing efficient communication channels, and implementing
regular system updates and maintenance. By focusing on these operational aspects, we can enhance the
system's usability, reliability, and overall success.
