EMS:
- Improvements for DTC P111D00 “Engine coolant level
moderately low”: increase low coolant level reaction time from
15 sec. to 120 sec. to avoid alarms when running in rough
terrain and steep inclinations (D4, D6 and D8).
- Paver engines starting in limp home mode unintentionally
(maximum RPM): Disable the limp home mode as interim
solution until a software update with more robust pedal-signal
supervision logic implemented (D4, D6 and D8).
- Improvements for DTC P040A64 “Exhaust gas recirculation
temperature sensor “A” – signal plausibility failure”: The
plausibility diagnosis for EGR temperature is modified to avoid
wrong triggered DTC, e.g. if a warm engine is shut down and
restarted in a short while (D4 and D6).
- Improvements for DTC P05407F “Intake air heater "A" control
- actuator stuck off”: will be avoided on machines, which are
not equipped with pre–heater (P4820D and P6820D).
- Improvements for DTC P04009C ”Exhaust gas
recirculation ”A” flow – low/insufficient flow”: Wrong DTC
triggering for EGR mass flow solved for engine RPM >2200
combined with cold conditions (only D4).
- Active regeneration interrupted after 30 – 35 minutes without
DTC: Decreased temperature from 497°C to 465°C for “late
post injection” enabling (only D4).
ACM:
- AdBlue®/DEF dosage valve (MA2519) clogged, DTC P204773
“Reductant injection valve control bank 1 unit 1 – Actuator stuck
closed”: deactivated to avoid wrong DTC triggering (D4, D6
and D8).
- AdBlue®/DEF tank unit: change of delay for quality check at
engine start (D4, D6 and D8).
- Frequent crystallization regeneration request and DTC
P2BAF68 “NOx system driver inducement active” without
crystallization found in the EATS system: modified the
threshold curve for triggering the DTC (only D4).

ACM:
- For introduction of Stage V legislation (MY2019), current
production engines of Stage IV / T4F and aftermarket engines
will have the same ACM MSW with PCD function is disabled for
SW evolution and management purposes. (D4J; D6J & D8J)
- During TechTool verification, the routine does not work for
soot and ash reset on the new common ACM software due to
calibration issue. (D4J; D6J; D8J)
- Frequent soot regeneration request (D6J)
• Recalibration of emission model in ACM.
EMS:
- Frequent soot regeneration request (D6J)
• Improvement to have less soot during transient response in
EMS.
- Active regeneration canceled after 35 min. (D6J)
• Temp range threshold lowered for post2 injection in EMS.
• Improvement of post1 injection quantity at high idle in EMS.
- Improved sub dataset for coolant level sensor implemented for
P7820D (D7E), to get correct low coolant level warning.
Implemented in production
EMS (D4E):
- Improved engine coolant low level warning detection.
ACM:
- Initialization time for UQS has reverted back to seven seconds
from three seconds due to the issue of incorrect and delayed
urea reading at start with old UQS. (D4J; D6J & D8J)
- SCR high temp limit increase adaption from 115kW
development. (D4J)

EMS:
- The EGR will be closed at the engine operation if Auto idle is
activated in order to reduce the risk of clogged EGR cooler.
(D6J only)
- Hydro carbon reduction calibration to reduce EGR cooler
clogging issue, by moving activation of fuel post injection to
higher torque levels. (D8J only)
- EGR is closed at Auto idle(1000rpm) to avoid an EGR cooler
clogged issue. (D8J only)
ACM:
- Timing to close the AdBlue®/DEF dosing valve and pump has
been updated at after-run procedure to improve the situation
that air might be captured in the suction filter of the tank unit.
- Initialization time for UQS has been changed to three seconds
back (was changed to seven before) to improve the situation
of restored operation. The operator must wait at least three
seconds at Key ON before cranking in order to have the
restored operation run activated properly.
WECU3:
- Missing communication with HMICU B is solved (missing fuel
consumption in Caretrack will be corrected in a later release
scheduled for week 35!)
