Intro: In the world where knowledge is a powerful tool, and brain has been our source of progression, let us
rest our mind and let our hearts talk as we welcome you to this year’s Junior and Senior Prom bearing the
theme: RESPLENDENCE…A night of elegance and class.
Well. there are one hundred and one reasons of getting dressed up elegantly and ravishingly today. Today is
one of the highlights of high school life in the pantheon of social graces and gregariousness!
WELCOME TO THE JUNIORS-SENIORS PROM 2024!
The much-awaited social gathering of the Juniors and Seniors of Cadiz Viejo National High School as they
poised for take-off to the world of fashion, fad and craze!
And without further ado… The Grand Entrance of our Prom Attendees.

Let’s give a resounding applause!

That wraps up our Grand Entrance. You guys are so hip and fabulous.
And to formally commence this event, please rise and feel a few moments of solemnity for an invocation
and please remain standing and imbibe among ourselves the virtue of nationalism and patriotism through the
singing of our Philippine National Anthem and our Cadiz City Hymn.

You may now be seated.

JS PROM is a time for students to learn on how to converse and mingle with people you are acquainted
with and the strangers in a very formal occasion. Likewise, every student should join and experience this for
you to know the exact and proper table etiquettes and to heighten up your social skills and knowledge.
Furthermore, there are many opportunities to shine bright in life, and the main key to shining bright is self-
knowledge. It’s about getting to know yourself and become your better version of being resplendent…cause
there you will see the true essence of elegance…when you are able to feel beautiful inside and outside…and
later on you will realize that you are a woman and a man with class that is timeless.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am Orly Navalesca and welcome to this year’s RESPLENDENCE…A night of
elegance and class.
So, let’s keep this dazzling moment shine with a resounding applause to our Secondary School Principal 1

Message
Thank you very much Ma’am Ailyn for your inspiring message to all the attendees. May your words of
wisdom be our moving spirit as we enjoy the night here in Northland Resort Hotel
Manapla.

Every JS Prom signifies the celebration of awards and achievements of our senior students and these
legacies should be handed over to the deserving and trustworthy inheritors…who else? The Juniors.
Aside from that, all the scholastic emblems held by the Seniors for one school year should be bequeathed to
their honorable recipients…those symbols of academic victories, co-curricular triumphs and team-building
upheavals.
At this juncture, let us now move on to the BEQUEATHAL CEREMONY.
To begin with, Such odyssey of service and leadership is about to end…to turn the hourglass upside down
for the new breed of student-leaders in the service of the Viejohanon students. May we call in ( Refer to
invitation ) for the passing of the golden KEY OF RESPONSIBILITY.

Let’s proceed to the endorsement of the book of knowledge. May we request ( Refer to invitation )

To take the moment of passing down the art of writing, freedom of expression and the power of ideas..may
we call in ( Refer to invitation ) our predecessor and successor of Ink and Quill.

At this point in time, let’s proceed with our icons of authority, power and sovereignty. May we call in
( Refer to invitation ) for the cape and scepter.
And to complete this ceremony, let us have our models of hope and victory for the bequeathal of the
symbolic torch.
No JS Prom is considered memorable in the absence of candle-lighting ceremony. Such ceremony
symbolizes the hand-over of the candles and wristband to the next bearers as to lead and guide our school
and its stakeholders in reaching their dreams and aspirations. At this point, let’s move onward and go
forward to the Exchanging of Candle and Wristband.
Thank you, guys. I am keeping fingers crossed that you will be successful in whatever chosen field to be
undertaken in the near future. And to our Juniors, may you fulfill your noble obligations to our school in
general and to your classmates for the next academic year.
To continue this unity, peace and camaraderie among you Juniors and Seniors. May we instill this friendship
bond among yourselves thru a song. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s give the floor for the Grade 9 for their
friendship song and to be followed by the Grade 10.

I am quite sure that everyone is excited to get the taste of luscious and sumptuous food to be served for
dinner by the accommodating crew members of Northland Resort Hotel Manapla.

So let us all stand up for the blessing of the food …as we say BLESS US OH LORD FOR THESE
THY GIFTS WHICH WE ARE ABOUT TO RECEIVE FROM THY BOUNTY THROUGH
CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN… We are now declaring with full force that… IT’S EATING TIME! Let’s
enjoy the food in observance of the table etiquette as usual. Happy eating everyone! Bon Appetit!
FELLOWSHIP DINNER
Good evening once again! Is the food great? still craving for another serving? Seemingly, everyone enjoys
taking dinner so as to be all-set for the next part of the program.
Remember the past and origin of your history is a worthwhile task..a sense of pride and awareness of who
you are. It is a reminder of your glorious past, for it brings to mind the wonders of our your batch.
Class History
Tonight, is probably a shining moment to each of you. Well, to make it more beautiful predicting outcomes
of your future success is a joy to do but there is one effective way to find out! Let the Class Prophet take her
course in giving her fearless predictions and formidable forecasts not based on Chinese astrology or tarot
cards but merely on the ambitions and career paths of her dear classmates…may we request (Refer to
invitation) for the reading of Class Prophecy.
Your road to success will always be under construction. But your innate aptitude coupled with great attitude,
you can shape your altitude. Goodluck to all you members of the Grade 10 Class…and so be it!
Tonight probably in the roster of specific legacies of the Grade 10 to be ceded to the Grade 9…may we
request ( Refer to invitation ) for the reading, endorsement and acceptance of the Last Will and
Testament…Ladies and gents, the Class Legacy.

One of the most-awaited parts of this event is the traditional cotillion de honor that serves as the prelude to
the dancing portion of the Prom. And to showcase the gracefulness and the inclination of the Viejohanons
tonight, let’s now welcome the Cotillion de Honor Dancers. Let’s give them a big hand with grace and poise!
