Chose 1 of the following options.

TOPIC 1
Make a presentation about a technological device of your choice JUST ONE (tv, car,
telephone, internet…). Give a brief introduction about the device and give at least 4
comparisons about how they used to work in the past and how they work now.
Finally, give your personal opinion about the device. Use at least 5 vocabulary words
from what we learned in Unit 10 and 11.

Example:
The internet was created by ….. in the year … Internet used to be slow and
expensive, but now is really fast and accessible.
TOPIC 2
Make a presentation giving your opinion about a statement you disagree with. Give at
least 3 reasons why you don´t agree with the statement and explain them. You need to use
at least 2 Useful Expressions for Offering Counterargument. Use at least 3 connectors (First
of all, Also, Finally…) and at least 5 vocabulary words from Unit 10 and 11.

Examples of statements you can use:

University should be provided for free.

Human cloning should be permitted.

Online learning is as effective as in-person learning.

Studying should be voluntary.

Reminders
- Remember that the topics are supposed to be oral presentations, NOT
reading or memory based.
- Students are supposed to use COMPLETE SENTENCES and vocabulary
from the Units.
Project Presentation
- Use Powerpoint, prezi, Google Slides, etc.
- Include ONLY pictures and key words.
- Write your project´s title, your course and the speaker/speakers name
- Present your project orally and DO NOT READ.
- The presentation may last about 2-3 minutes
- Send your presentation in PDF to the following email BEFORE your
