4. Claudia: "I like busy cities. The traffic is usually bad, but I think it’s okay when someone else drives.

When we want to talk about something we saw or events in the past, we use there
was/there were. In the present we use there is/there are.

• We use some and any with plural nouns.
• Use some in positive (+) sentences, and any in negative sentences (-) and questions (?).
