Partner Agreement: National Alliance on Mental Illness (Washtenaw County)

Description: NAMI is a national mental health advocacy organization that offers free resources
to communities. NAMI serves local communities such as counties or cities across the country.
The branch we will work with is in Washtenaw County. The project consists of giving
presentations to hospital patients and Google Calendar/email organizational tasks. We will
attend a volunteer orientation, give educational presentations to patients, and discuss NAMI
resources and mental health at the inpatient and outpatient hospital programs.

Responsibilities:
 Set up a new Google calendar system for NAMI-WC volunteers by creating a Google
Calendar system.
 Organize current volunteer tracking and management systems through Google Sheets
 Transition from using Google Sheets to using a Google Calendar sign-up system for
volunteers.

Our project supervisor, Natalie Striks, volunteer coordinator, will check in weekly with our
progress in 30-60-minute meetings to discuss the project progress. During the week, we will
communicate by email about progress and questions.
