A long time ago, there was a monster named Nian. Its
feature was the combination of lion, unicorn and the ox that
made the villagers scared of him. Nian loved to visit a little
village each year, and scare everybody he saw. He thought
that was great fun. He liked to do this just as the new year
began, to remind people that Nian was still around.

One day, a donkey found a lion's skin and decided to put it on. He
looked at his reflection in the stream and saw that he looked just like a
lion. He walked towards the village in the lion's skin. Seeing a lion, the
villagers got scared and started running to hide. The villagers left their
food and belongings out there in the open. The donkey in the lion's
skin ate as much as he wanted and then grabbed the loot and went

back into the forest.
