a. Pay the €10 fee following the methods and deadlines laid down in paragraph 3.
b. Wait for the result of the entry requirements assessment. If the requirements are
not met, missing credits (ECTS) can be acquired by passing single courses.

d. Proceed to enrolment by paying the degree programme tuition fees following the
procedures and deadlines indicated in paragraph 5.
Enrolment can be carried out only after the Student Affairs Office sends the email
informing about the successful result of the entry requirements and academic
knowledge assessment.
Graduand candidates
If the Programme Regulations allow it, students from Sapienza University of Rome or from
other Italian universities who have not graduated yet can also apply for the entry requirements
assessment, subject to the obligation to gain their degree by January 13, 2024 (for Sapienza

University of Rome graduands) and by December 16, 2023 (for graduands coming from other
Italian or international universities).
2. Admission requirements
The master’s degree is open to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in the classes L-7, L-8, L-
9, who have at least 90 ECTS in the disciplinary fields indicated below, divided as follows:
- at least 45 ECTS in Scientific-Disciplinary Sectors (SSD) of the Mathematics, Computer
Science, Statistics, Physics and Chemistry classes and of the Industrial Engineering class
corresponding to the SSD MAT/01,02,03,05,06,07,08,09, INF/01, ING-INF/05, CHIM/03;
- CHIM/07, SECS-S/02, FIS/01, FIS/03;
at least 45 ECTS in the core scientific-disciplinary sectors of industrial and information
engineering and civil and environmental engineering classes, of which at least 6 ECTS in the
SSD ING-IND/31.
If the aforementioned requirements are not satisfied, engineering graduates who obtained an
average final grade in their bachelor’s degree equal to or higher than 90/110 or who graduated
within the legal duration of the programme are admitted to the programme . In the event of
final grades below 90/110 and bachelor’s degrees completed beyond the programme’s legal
duration, the Area Educational Board may assess the appropriateness of entry requirements
by organising a written test.
Curricular requirements are assessed based on the certificate of the exams taken during
academic studies; missing credits (ECTS) may be acquired with single courses. ECTS
required to meet the curricular requirements must, in any case, be acquired before enrolment.
Good command of spoken and written English corresponding to a B2 level of proficiency
(CEFR, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), that must be proved by
the student with a specific certificate or with an assessment of such knowledge that will be
carried out in accordance with the methods laid down in the Programme Regulations.
The result of the entry requirements assessment will be given on the candidate’s institutional
email address (if activated) or on the candidate’s personal email address given on Infostud.

The methods for the academic knowledge assessment, which is only open to students
meeting the curricular requirements, are set out in the Programme Regulations, available on
the degree programme's website.
The ability to use English fluently, in written and oral form, at a level no lower than the B2 level
of the CEFR must also be attested.
Language proficiency may also be recognised if a B2 language activity has been completed in
the bachelor's degree or through attendance of advanced language courses provided by the
Faculty and the successful completion of the relevant test before enrolment.
The certificates recognised by the Faculty, corresponding to CEFR Level B2, are listed below:
• Cambridge FCE (or higher)
• IELTS level 6 (or higher)
• TOEFL internet-based 72 (or higher), paper-based 513 (or higher), or computer-based 183
(or higher)
• Trinity ISE2 (or higher)
5. Enrolment
Enrolment is carried out by paying the programme’s enrolment tuition fees after completing the
entry requirements and academic knowledge assessment with a successful result.
The payment is generated on the Infostud system.
The payment must be carried out online with PagoPA (direct payment).
The code to insert on the system is 31827.

These candidates must hold the mandatory pre-acceptance letter.
