1. The T will ask SS about the previous lesson learned as a
review and warm-up.

2. T introduces “Song on Internal Organs” and let the SS 5 mins T-S

3. The T starts to introduce the lesson by asking these Motivation 5 mins T-S-S
simple questions:
 What internal organs did you hear from our song?

 Where does our food go when we eat?
 Do you think we need clean blood in our body?
Why?
4. With these guide questions, the T can ask SS to
answer, and T writes possible answers on the WB and
have SS take down notes.
5. T now shows FLASHCARDS of pictures of internal
organs with scrambled letters, SS need to rearrange
scrambled letters to guess the correct internal organ. Let
SS focus more on topic for the day i.e., KIDNEYS and
STOMACH

5. The T shows a video about the KIDNEYS and the


STOMACH. See Teaching Resource for the link…
 There are 2 videos, one about the KIDNEYS and
one about the STOMACH. Collectively, the video
runs approximately 3 mins and 30secs.
*T needs to pre-set videos & materials onset of the class
for smooth transitions 10 mins

6. Group Discussion, The T then groups the SS into 5
(depending on the number of SS) then let them talk
about what they just watched, what they remembered.
Use guided open-ended questions as samples for SS.
Ex. From the video, what did you learn about the
KIDNEYS? What about the STOMACH?

7. Ask random group members to share what they have


discussed as a group about the video they watched. SS White Board
can ask questions from other groups as a challenge. Activity T-S-S
8. SS go to the WB (one per group) to answer T questions Activate 1
about KIDNEYS and STOMACH. 5 mins.
9. The T now asks SS to open their textbooks to pages 13-
14 to read about the topic.
*The T may ask different SS to read one part of the topic
and then on to the next SS, T explaining further as they Study T-S-T
move along. 10 mins.
10. T. writes important Vocabulary with meaning on WB
and let SS copy on notebooks.
11. To sum up the lesson, the T will ask SS True or False Closure T-S
questions or statements about the internal organs
learned for the day. SS need to make the statement
correct of the answer is FALSE.
* We have four Kidneys in our body. 10 mins
* Our stomach is big and can expand.
* Our kidneys help make urine to go out of our body.

12. At the end of the lesson, the T can ask SS to play a 3 mins.
simple spelling game of the key vocabulary words
learned.

13. T distributes HW to SS and makes sure to explain how


to do it and to put the HW properly in HW folder/bags. Homework
