NORTE ON FEBRUARY 12, 2024 (MONDAY) AT 8:30 IN THE MORNING AT THE
BARANGAY KALILANGAN SESSION HALL.

 RESOLUTION No. 15, SERIES OF 2024

“A RESOLUTION REQUIRING ALL THE MICRO-FINANCE INSTITUTIONS TO

SECURE A BARANGAY BUSINESS PERMIT AND OTHER REQUIRED
PERMITS/CERTIFICATES TO OPERATE WITHIN THE BARANGAY
KALILANGAN, TUBOD, LANAO DEL NORTE.”

WHEREAS, the Barangay Kalilangan recognizes the importance of promoting lawful and
organized business operations within its jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, the Micro-Finance Institutions is operating within Barangay Kalilangan, providing

micro-finance services to residents;

WHEREAS, it is essential to regulate and monitor the activities of businesses, including banks
(mainly rural and thrift), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), cooperatives, financing
companies and lending companies, to ensure compliance with local laws, safety standards, and
community welfare;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the Sangguniang

Barangay of Kalilangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte, in session assembled, to mandate the Micro-
Finance Institutions to obtain the necessary permits and certificates to operate within the
barangay.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Micro-Finance Institutions is specifically required to secure

the Barangay Business Permit and other permits/certificates as may be required by law, including
but not limited to Barangay Business Permits/Certificates to operate within the local of Barangay
Kalilangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that failure to comply with the requirements within a specified time
frame of 30 days from the issuance of this resolution shall result in penalties and possible
suspension of operations within the barangay.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all the Micro-Finance
Institutions, the Barangay Chairman, the Municipal Business Permit and Licensing Office, and
other relevant government agencies for their information and strict compliance.
