writing is; and

Describe the parts of

argumentative writing
Argumentative Writing is a type of essay
where you confirm that your opinion,
theory or hypothesis about an issue is
correct or more reliable than those of
others.
Presents and explains
the issue.
Gives reasons and
supports these reasons
to prove their point.
Refutes opposing
arguments.
Argumentative essays are very
similar to persuasive essays, but
the difference is that you are
arguing for your opinion as
opposed to others, rather than
directly trying to persuade
someone to adopt your point of
view.

your side is valid and deserves
consideration as another point of view.

point of view on a particular topic.
