Facility Management Office – Engineering Unit (3 Interns)

8 Weeks | Full Time (40 hours per week) |Location – Islamabad

The intern will be engaged in daily training assignments that involve performing duties and tasks as following:

Computer Engineer Intern:

With a background in computer science, internee must demonstrate deep understanding of computer systems
and their deployment in building management systems. Intern must understand and provide solutions to
complex problems. Internee will be working on the Building Automated System (BAS) and successfully complete
complex tasks assigned to him/her. Intern must be able to proactively identify & implement opportunities to
automate tasks and develop reusable frameworks, able to perform data analysis for Utilities Consumption and
reporting, preparation of Facilities Work plans. participating in efforts to design, build, and develop rapid Proof-
of-Concept (POC) solutions and services.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for intern:

Ideal candidate is expected to be student of Computer Science from university approved by Pakistan Engineering
Council.

Civil Engineer Intern:

With a background in civil engineering internee must have an inquisitive mind and skills to be an expert in
contract management. During the internship, internee will gain important knowledge of building systems,
contracts, and project management techniques., working on various software’s, databases, inspecting off
compound properties and systems installed, preparation of annual budgets for FAC including cost associated
with projects and defining problem statement, recommending solutions, identifying resources, creating scope of
work, preparing all elements of cost

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for intern:

Ideal candidate is expected to be student of Civil Engineering from university approved by Pakistan Engineering
Council.

Mechanical Engineer Intern:

With a background in Mechanical engineering internee must have an inquisitive mind and skills to be an expert
in contract management. During the internship, internee will be able gain a lot of knowledge of facilities project
management and maintenance systems e.g. Building Automation Systems Mechanical System and Equipment,
Plumbing and Fire System, Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant, HVAC System and Boilers,
Fuel Storage and Distribution System, Electrical Power Generation and Distribution System

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for intern:

Ideal candidate is expected to be student of Mechanical Engineering from university approved by Pakistan
Engineering Council.
