Players may wish to invest in a home or businesses. Due to Phlan’s limited space, building is
not an option until the Slums are cleared. Prices are as below, and otherwise no downtime rules
are being used. Phlan is treated as a Hamlet (4 points per day towards completion), after cleared
a Village (10 points), and after 5 years a small town (15 points). GP costs are presumed to cover
any taxes, licenses, and other fees in addition to materials and labor.

While it may be intriguing to add mechanical benefits, beyond having a place and materials to
craft and live, buildings are meant to enhance role-play while giving an outlet for those with
funds to integrate into their community.
