pomegranates [of] blue, and [of] purple, and [of] scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and
bells of gold between them round about: A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a
pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about. Then the priest shall look upon it: and,
behold, [if] the rising of the sore [be] white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald
forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh; He is a leprous man, he [is]
unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague [is] in his head. How are
they [brought] into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. Dead
flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: [so doth] a little
folly him that is in reputation for wisdom [and] honour. And they took strong cities, and a fat
land, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit
trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves
in thy great goodness. And what do thy eyes wink at, That thou turnest thy spirit against God,
and lettest [such] words go out of thy mouth? And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood
with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. And the man said, They are departed hence;
for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And when the LORD saw [it], he abhorred [them],
because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. For [it was] not an enemy [that]
reproached me; then I could have borne [it]: neither [was it] he that hated me [that] did
magnify [himself] against me; then I would have hid myself from him: But [it was] thou, a man
mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was
departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on

dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven;
yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. And he commanded the multitude to sit down
on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he
blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to [his] disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
Saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? The word which came

unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the
LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink. There were present at that season
some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. Then

the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children

David, which [is] Zion. Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with
perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great
joy. Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall
the work say of him that made it, He made me not? And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of
Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah,
saying, Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou

lawgiver, the LORD [is] our king; he will save us. That is, They which are the children of the
flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the
seed. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. For by grace
are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works,

people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave [thereof].
And they asked him, What then? For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth [his hands]
among us, and multiplieth his words against God. And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife
of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he [is] sick: thus and thus shalt
thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself [to be]
another [woman]. Blessed [is the man whom] thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee,
that] he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, [even]

one after me, whose shoes of [his] feet I am not worthy to loose. Go not to glean in another
field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: [Let] thine eyes [be] on the

shall not touch thee? As a piece of a pomegranate [are] thy temples within thy locks. Upon the
four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which [is] the month Sebat, in the second year of

the myrtle trees that [were] in the bottom; and behind him [were there] red horses, speckled,

had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to
save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he
obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of
eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of

his mother, and his father loveth him. And in the dungeon [there was] no water, but mire: so
Jeremiah sunk in the mire. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from
his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven
angels were fulfilled. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by
what name, have ye done this? And Jonathan answered Saul, David earnestly asked [leave] of me
[to go] to Bethlehem: And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in
the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me [to be there]: and now, if I have found favour in
thine eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Then Paul took the men, and the
next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of
the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them. And
there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: The same came

through Christ. But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in
the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up. And he shall break it as the breaking
of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be
found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water [withal] out
of the pit. But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and
abode in the rock Rimmon four months. And he answered, He told me [that] thou shouldest surely

similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto
him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have
retained no strength. And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king
of Judah, [that] this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Take thee a roll of a book,
and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah,
and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto
this day. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and

of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout
their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it
shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of
the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which
ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your
God. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? Saith the LORD. And the woman came
unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath

LORD, to serve other gods; For the LORD our God, he [it is] that brought us up and our fathers
out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our
sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we
passed: And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in
the land: [therefore] will we also serve the LORD; for he [is] our God. And the fish that [is]
in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the
water of the river. For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand

Tell [them], Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof,
and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; And hath taken of the king’s seed,
and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of
the land: That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, [but] that by
keeping of his covenant it might stand. Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them, and
withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst. But though
he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of
Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And
Joshua passed from Libnah, and all Israel with him, unto Lachish, and encamped against it, and
fought against it: And the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, which took it on the
second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that [were] therein,
according to all that he had done to Libnah. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon

ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he
went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her. Then said David to the
Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to

shall not enter therein. He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death. So
they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab went one way by himself, and

marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted
[me] with all thy waves. Blessed [be] the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in
a strong city. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD. Amen. Now concerning the
collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Kiss

sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee. And when they shall say unto you, Seek
unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a
people seek unto their God? And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

hast thou not kept the oath of the LORD, and the commandment that I have charged thee with? So
the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, [and] he that smootheth [with] the hammer him that smote
the anvil, saying, It [is] ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, [that] it
should not be moved. So Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the
vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all
that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded. The LORD also will be a refuge for the
oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders
and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years. If he be
able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against
him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us. In thee are men that carry tales

lewdness. For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day,
because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God. And
he made chains, [as] in the oracle, and put [them] on the heads of the pillars; and made an
hundred pomegranates, and put [them] on the chains. And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as
unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ. Then Jeremiah the prophet

fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish,
and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah. Have mercy upon
me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, [yea], my soul and my belly.

to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river? But take heed to yourselves: for
they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be
brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. And he told [it] to
his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What [is] this
dream that thou hast dreamed? BETH. And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of

turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses.
Every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle. Presumptuous [are they],
selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Ye worship ye know not what: we know
what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put
away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth [are] vanity. And he looked up, and saw the
rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And so it was, that, while they were there, the
days were accomplished that she should be delivered. Now it came to pass in the third year of

presence; strength and gladness [are] in his place. These [are they] whom the LORD commanded to
divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan. And it shall be, as
with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid,

borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. He stretched out his

Where wilt thou that we prepare? When a ruler hath sinned, and done [somewhat] through ignorance
[against] any of the commandments of the LORD his God [concerning things] which should not be
done, and is guilty; Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall
bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish: And he shall lay his hand upon
the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the
LORD: it [is] a sin offering. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that
himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. I will set his
hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. Thy faithfulness [is] unto all
generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. And the prophet Gad said unto

a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying
unto them, When thou art bidden of any [man] to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room;
lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him; And he that bade thee and him come and
say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room. And Jesus
