Objective: Select an appropriate display to show a trend over time
You are developing a report on historical unemployment for an economist.
You should select an appropriate display to show total unemployment over
time.

1. Load the attached data into Power BI as is.


2. Choose an appropriate display to show total unemployment over time.
Period should be on the x-axis and Sum of Unemployed should appear
on the y-axis.
3. Add a slicer to select age group.
4. Add a second slicer to select gender.
5. Remove extraneous titles from the x- and y-axis ("Year" and "Sum of
Unemployment").

You are developing a headcount report for an HR department. You need to
recommend a display to show employee head count over departments.

1. Use the attached Power BI pbix file as a starter file. You will likely
need to attach the data source file included with this assignment as well.
2. Choose an appropriate display to show count of employees in
departments.
3. Add a slicer to select year. Using the formatting options, make this
selection a dropdown slicer.
4. Remove extraneous titles from the x- and y-axis and give it a nice title,
like "Headcount by Dept".

Instructions
Objective: Select an appropriate display to variation of data
You are developing a production report on 3 machines to determine variation
between them. You should select an appropriate display to show variation
and quartile distribution.

1. Use the starter Power BI file attached. You will need to attach the
source file included as well.
2. Choose an appropriate display to show quartile distribution. Hint: You
will need to use "Get More Visuals". Date should be on the axis and
Machine should be on Axis category I. Sum of Value should be under
value.
3. Add a slicer for date.

 Add a top ten filter for Country by Sales.

Instructions
Objective: End to End solution
You are developing a Power BI dashboard to indicate if countries met their
sales targets. You will need to load 2 fact tables, and then relate them by
creating 2 conformed dimension tables between them. Then create the
following visualizations.

1. In a treemap, show sales by country.


2. Use a gauge visual to show achievement of goal.
3. Use a card visual to show the name of the country displayed
4. Add a slicer to select year. It will appear as a slider unless you convert
the year to string.
