**** STEVE BURNS SYSTEM-H LETTER [JUNE 25TH, 2002] ****

Dear Group:

I spoke for about 45 minutes with Steve Burns, who seems to have a very in-depth
understanding of the De Aquino apparatus and how to engineer it. There appear to be a lot
of pitfalls associated with this device -- one of the largest being obtaining a magnetic
permeability from the iron that will allow it to work within the requisite power-levels.
The payoff would be that this is the only gravitational shielding design backed by
established physics.

Steve indicated that the cost of building System-G may cost several thousand dollars in
components, and it is possible that the cost of building System-H might run close to
$100,000 -- most of which would appear to be from the correctly constructing and
annealing the iron ball.

Steve had a thought that using a less expensive nickel-iron film might provide the
requisite permeability and could be annealed in a common oven -- he thought that perhaps
this might be a tool to circumvent the need to build and anneal a large, heavy iron ball
to exacting magnetic-permeability standards. With this modification to the experiment, he
is thinking that perhaps building a "solid" iron shield might not be necessarily when a
simple film of high-permeability material would suffice. This might eliminate the most
expensive aspect of building and testing this apparatus.

The cost associated with Naudin's System-G replication should appear in purchasing the
correct permeability of iron-powder to put into the container -- he also thought that
Naudin might have some difficulties with getting the ELF antenna to draw current as a
resistive element, which requires eliminating capacitance and inductance form the
antenna.

Steve thought that the electronics for this project might be the simpler side of the
equation -- he estimated that if the electronics were homebuilt they could be done for
about $75 in parts. Electronics might be substantially more for System-G, as the antenna
needs to be more precisely tuned.

At one point during his experimentation, Steve states that he was getting a reduction in
weight in his apparatus -- although apparently the apparatus inexplicably quit generating
this reduction in weight during further testing.

Steve will hopefully providing me a link to a paper by two American physicists who
actually established the scientific basis for Prof. De Aquino's research -- he believes
that what makes De Aquino's research unique is that it is the only design that has a
strong foundation in conventional physics -- there is no "magic" involved.

Steve also suggested as a guess that the Podkletnov apparatus might have generated the
decrease in weight possibly not as a result of the superconductivity itself, but from the
generation of ELF waves from a minute wobble in the superconductor -- that the wobble
(less than 10hz apparently) would be consequently generating Dr Chaio's "Gravity Waves"
but also a large ELF wave as a result of the large current circulating in the
superconductor -- that ELF wave might be generating a gravitational shielding effect
using the same ideas that De Aquino has engineered.

I will attempt to locate the theoretical paper that Steve referenced as the basis for De
Aquino's calculations, as well as provide detailed links on engineering-related
information that would assist with engineering this device.

De Aquino in this case has apparently been "drafted" into service to further develop this
device by the Brazilian military, who are apparently only allowing only those papers that
are already part of the public-domain on this subject. I know that there is some irony in
this, I am just not entirely sure where ....
