Learning Objectives: 1. Understand the definition and purpose of MOOE in the context of DepEd.
2. Differentiate between MOOE and Cash Allowance, grasping the importance
of both for teachers.
3. Familiarize participants with the current guidelines and policies governing
MOOE and Cash Allowance.
4. Identify challenges faced by teachers in managing MOOE and explore
potential solutions.

Handouts containing relevant guidelines and policies from DepEd,

Activity:  Break participants into small groups and provide case studies related to
MOOE.
 Each group discusses and presents their analysis of the case, including
challenges and effective solutions.
Analysis:  In your group analysis, what challenges did you identify in the effective
utilization of MOOE?
 How do these challenges relate to the day-to-day experiences of teachers in
managing their classrooms and educational resources?
 How might the guidelines on MOOE and Cash Allowance use impact the
overall quality of education in schools, and what are the potential benefits or
drawbacks for both teachers and students?
 How might addressing the challenges encountered contribute to the
improvement of the education system at large, and what role can teachers play
in advocating for effective MOOE policies?
Abstraction/  Summarize the common themes and key insights derived from the group
Generalization: analyses.
 Discuss overarching principles and generalizations about MOOE and Cash
