Scan Pattern Procedure

1. Instruments for correct indications - left to right

2 Instruments for correct indications - left to right

3 Auto-pilot off, instruments for correct indications - left to right

4 Engine instrument gauges for correct indications and same - top to bottom

5 Avionics off, flight instruments correct indications - left to right

6 Weather radar off, avionics master switch off - left to right

7 Circuit breaker check (all in unless collared) - right to left

8 Flaps up, indications correct

9 Undercarriage down, fuel pumps off, suction zero, ammeters zero, switches off - right to left

10 Thrust levers closed, pitch fine, mixture lean,

11 Cowl flaps open

12 Fuel selectors check for operation and select on

13 Trims ~ full & free movement and set for take-off - top to bottom
Note: Any defects (or collared circuit breakers) to be checked against the maintenance release.
