There are people who believe that their state budget should be spent

mainly on work training rather than on university education. While it’s

true that vocational training can be beneficial for the economy, I
believe that university education is worth investing in.
To begin with, there are several reasons why skills training is valuable
to one’s country. Firstly, by doing practical work, people could gain
experience for later employment. Through practical training, students
get to know how the industry operates and what standard procedures
must be followed in the real working environment. Consequently, when
they begin to work for a company or an industry, they would perform
better and get higher chances of promotion. Moreover, employment
training also develops interpersonal skills. Practical training for students
is also a way of improving their communication skills and soft skills.
These training programs also help students learn how to coordinate
with people, helping them improve their leadership skills as well.
However, I would argue that obtaining a bachelor’s degree would be
more beneficial. People who graduate from universities have better
access to job opportunities. Many of today companies require some
certain qualifications to work for them. Such as years of experience, the
ability to cooperate and a certified degree. In addition, university
graduates are offered higher pay and greater financial stability.
According to the data which Ministry of Education conduct in 2016, the
income of a university graduates is approximately 3 times higher than
that of who does not graduate. Hence, their salary could benefit greatly
for their families and their lives.
In conclusion, although some people are in favor of vocational training
as they believe that this is useful for their future employment,
however, I strongly believe that society should encourage university
education as it not only saves time but also worth efforts and gives
benefits for young specialists.
