CALL TO WORSHIP

Good morning, dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ! Benedicite!

We are gathered today as one High School unit to give thanks to

our loving and gracious God for all the graces that has been given
to our Scholastican-faith community.

As we conclude this school year, our first together onsite since the
onset of the pandemic, we acknowledge that it has not been an
easy transition for all of us to face the challenges set before us,
there may have been a lot of worries and anxieties that may have
grappled us, but we have done our best to overcome these things.
We rejoice for all the lessons, friendships, and meaningful
connections that we have made this school year.

Indeed, we have many things to be grateful for and we realize as

well that there is much to be done in the future, and so we ask our
heavenly Father to be with us this day as we recognize our
accomplishments, and all that this year has been to our school.

Let our participation in the Eucharistic celebration on this First

Friday of June, the month of the Sacred Heart, be an act of
thanksgiving to God who has loves us immensely and
unconditionally, and an act of honoring the people who have
helped us achieve our hopes, dreams, and goals this school year.

Let us now rise and join our voices in singing our song of praise as
we welcome Christ in the person of our presider, the Rev. Fr.
Francis D. Alvarez, of the Society of Jesus, Associate Professor of
Biblical Theology and Religious Education at the Loyola School of
Theology and Undergraduate Theology Professor at the Theology
Department of the School of Humanities at the Ateneo de Manila
University.
