Stone Age
Ancient human were able to discover
and invent tools from stones:

Flint
Chert Basalt
Sandstone

Tools were developed gradually from single to all-purpose tools to a


collection of varied and highly specialized types of tools.

Aside from stones, they also used other
materials in creating weapons:

Wood
Bone
Many important inventions also appeared

The use of fire led to various ways of preparing and cooking


food and inventions of suitable food containers and utensils.

Bronze Age
The period marked with the beginning of mining and metallurg

BRONZE denotes the first period in which metal was used.


▪ Man begun smelting copper and alloying with tin or arsenic
to make BRONZE tools and weapons.

Bronze Age
The period marked with the beginning of mining and metallurgy

most innovative weaponry in
Bronze Age warfare..

Bronze was harder and more durable than


other metals available at the time, thus
providing Bronze Age civilizations to gain
a technological advantage.

Iron Age
The period of time when the dominant tool making materials
was IRON.

Iron Age Technology is characterized by the production of tools and


weaponry using ferrous metallurgy or iron working.

Significant changes made by the dark


metal in the ancient society:

▪ Way people grew crops


▪ Way they fought wars

Iron metal made life easier.

was IRON.
