understand these two languages: my mother

What are your language weaknesses? Language like English is a languages I can
grasp, but I don't know enough about other
words that have more complex meanings. In
addition, my English, which is my second
language, is not sufficiently fluent for me to
communicate.

Which language is your favorite and why? Bicol is my favorite language since it allows
me to communicate with others so simply.
When I speak with people that speak the
same mother tongue as me, I have no trouble
expressing who I really am in this language.
MY LANGUAGE BIOGRAPHY

Growing up in a Polangui-Rinconada household, my first language was naturally


Rinconada. My parents both use Rinconada when they communicate with our family members,
which is why I grew up learning Bicol as my mother tongue, thus, now I can speak 2 languages.
The language that I can speak is Bicol and English. My first language is Bicol, specifically
Polangui-Rinconada. I acquired my first language, or mother tongue, which is Bicol, through
language acquisition when I was young. I learned it by listening to the language spoken around
me, imitating sounds, and gradually understanding the meaning of words in social interactions
with family members and friends. Using my mother tongue, I can communicate effectively,
express emotions, build relationships, convey complex ideas, and engage in various forms of
artistic expression such as writing, poetry, or storytelling. Furthermore, proficiency in my mother
tongue is crucial for accurate interpretation, and the ability to articulate my thoughts and ideas
confidently in my mother tongue is a great skill for socializing with different people.

My second language is English. I learned my second language through formal education,


which provides structured lessons with the use of these two languages. In English, I can
perform skills such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. My language strengths are that I
