 INTRODUCTION
The world is ninety percent spiritual and only ten percent material. There are more things that are in the
spiritual realm than in the physical realm. Man himself is composed of these two entities: Body and soul
and this makes him a unique entity. Unless you understand this fact, then you cannot live well in this
world.

One of the major branches of Philosophy is Metaphysics and it refers to the studying of things that go
beyond the physical. It deals with the cosmos, celestial bodies, and all others that are not visible to the
eye. Just as the telescope or microscope is used to view objects that are not visible ordinarily to the eyes,
so also do we need inner sight to see the spiritual objects.

Just as God created human beings, He also created spirit beings to serve Him in heaven. These are called
Angels. They were created six thousand years before Adam (the first man was created). According to St.
Thomas Aquinas, God created nine Choirs of Angels: The Seraphims, Cherubims, Thrones, Dominions,
Powers, Virtues, Principalities, Archangels and Celestial Angels. When the rebellion started in heaven as
as explained in Revelations 12: 7, Michael and his Angels defeated Lucifer who stood against God’s decree.
Michael exclaimed “Quis ut Deus” which means who is like God.

When it is said that the devil dragged down a third of the stars along with him (Rev 12:4), it meant that
he took with him one third of the choirs of Angels who he had convinced to follow his steps. These people
are the people we regard as the fallen angels. They are the angelic demons. We can also see them as
described in Genesis 6:1-4 because they started having sexual intercourse with human beings and
produced Giants known as Nephilims.

Angels and demons are everywhere. Just as God has a special Angel attached to every human being, entity,
group, nation, state etc so also does Lucifer have a demon attached to these places as well. You find them
on trees, major roads, streets, schools etc where people gather. If you are not protected by calling on your
guardian angels to help you, the demons are ready to cause mainhaim on us.

We must call on our Angels now, so that we will not fall into the trap set by the devil and his minions.

 THE MARK OF THE BEAST

2020 was a year full of surprises. If not anything, people have felt the feeling of end time. While we have

people on one side promoting the fact that the world is ending soon, some others are promoting the fact that

these things have happened in the past and as such are not new. Then we have the issue of 666 linked with

the Covid 19 vaccination. Are they conspiracies? We shall find out.

Jewish Symbols

Every culture, language and tribe is replete with symbolic representation. Even in the Church, there are

signs and symbols that relate to mysteries and actions. Christianity emanated from Judaism. And as such,

a lot of the Jewish symbols are also used by the early Apostles including Jesus himself. Let's start with the

Numerical symbols.

• The number 1 indicates unity, divinity, and wholeness, as exemplified by God.

• The number 3 signifies completeness and stability, as represented by the three Patriarchs and the

three pilgrimage festivals –Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot (I Kings 17:21; Daniel 6:10).

3+1: This is a number cluster that signals the fulfillment of God’s plans (Amos 1; Daniel 7:25).

• The number 4 is a recurrent number in both exoteric and esoteric Jewish traditions. The Passover

festival is particularly structured around fours: the Four Questions, the Four Sons, and four cups of

wine. There are four cardinal directions and there are four Matriarchs. Four is also a common factor

in esoteric interpretations: four angels surround the Throne of Glory; there are four kingdoms of

the eschaton, and the famous four Sages who enter Paradise.

• The number 5 is represented by the five books of Moses and five divisions to the Psalms.

Magical/mystical texts are also sometimes separated into divisions of five. Five is the number of

protection, as symbolized in the hamsa, the talismanic hand.

 • The number 7 is one of the greatest power numbers in Judaism, representing Creation, good fortune,

and blessing. A Hebrew word for luck, gad, equals seven in gematria. Another Hebrew word for

luck, mazal, equals 77. The Bible is replete with things grouped in sevens. Besides the Creation

and the exalted status of the Sabbath, the seventh day, there are seven laws of Noah and seven

Patriarchs and Matriarchs. Several Jewish holidays are seven days long, and priestly ordination

takes seven days. The Land of Israel was allowed to lie fallow one year in seven. The menorah in

the Temple has seven branches. The prophet Zechariah describes a strange celestial stone with

seven eyes (Chapter 4).

• 8 is the number of completion. The Tabernacle was dedicated in an eight-day ceremony. Male

children are circumcised on the eighth day (Genesis 17). Hanukkah is an eight-day holiday, etc.

Finally, it is important to note that odd numbers are considered lucky; even numbers (especially pairs) are

considered bad luck.

The number 6 is usually identified with the following: Image, man, beast, flesh, work, sacrifice, intimacy,

knowledge, sacrificial love, number of man and beast, antichrist, idol, and judgment. Six refers to the works

of man, but ideally represents sacrificial love and intimate knowledge with the Creator (Da’at). When the

latter is forsaken, only idolatry and flesh remain. We are always either projecting the image of God or the

image of the beast (flesh) to the world, which is represented by the number six.

“Six is the revealed creation of the physical world… seven or Shabbat reveals the spiritual within the

physical. The Sabbath seven exposes the spirit that moves inside the physical garment of the six.” (Alewine)

Negative side: A false witness that speaks lies, being a witness for the enemy or for the lusts of the flesh.

(Pr. 6:16-19) See the number 24 for a giant that followed this image of the beast (6) that actually had six

fingers on each hand and six toes each foot.

God created man on the sixth day. So, the number 6 is used to refer to the physical man ruled by his senses

and not the spirit God. Since 7 is the number of perfection, and 6 is a number short of 7, it means that the

number 6 is an imperfect number. And so when the Jewish people write 777 they are trying to emphasize

the Perfection. When it also writes 666, it is also trying to emphasize the imperfection. When it also writes

666, it is also trying to emphasize the imperfection.

Revelations 13:18 says: “This calls for wisdom. Whoever is intelligent can figure out the meaning of the

number of the beast, because the number stands for the name of someone. Its number is 666”.

From our analogy above, we can say that the person is a superlative form of the imperfect man. Man is

already imperfect by original sin. But when there is a superlative form as described, it means that the

individual so described is the highest form of imperfection. In Revelations 13, we see the mention of two

beasts.

The First Beast

Revelations 13:1: “Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads; on each

of its horns there was a crown, and on each of its heads there was a name that was insulting to God. Let's

take note of the second sentence: "It has ten horns and seven heads".

This is also mentioned in Revelations 12:3: Another mysterious sight appeared in the sky. There was a huge

red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and a crown on each of his heads. Here we can also see the

mention of ten horns and seven heads.

Who would this dragon or beast likely be? In Revelations 12:9, we were told of his name: ‘The huge dragon

was thrown out—that ancient serpent, named the Devil, or Satan, that deceived the whole world”.

So, in essence, the huge dragon or the first Beast is Satan, Lucifer or the Devil.

The Second Beast

“Then I saw another beast, which came up out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb's horns, and it

spoke like a dragon” The above quote from Revelations 13:12 tells us that the second beast has two

qualities:

1. The qualities of a Lamb

2. The qualities of a Beast or dragon.

These two qualities are used by the beast but in service to the first Beast.

“It used the vast authority of the first beast in its presence. It forced the earth and all who live on it to

worship the first beast, whose wound had healed”. Revelations 13:12. But in doing this, it deceived the

people of the earth by performing miracles.

This second beast performed great miracles; it made fire come down out of heaven to earth in the sight of

Who then is this Second beast? Verse 16&17 tells us of the nature and position of this beast. 16 The beast

forced all the people, small and great, rich and poor, slave and free, to have a mark placed on their right

hands or on their foreheads. 17 No one could buy or sell without this mark, that is, the beast's name or the

number that stands for the name

The fact that the beast could force people to do something shows that the beast is in a position of authority.

Therefore, the beast is a Ruler. The last part of the passage tells us that the number stands for name of the

Beast. This means that the number 666 is a code or a symbol for the Beast.

This second beast is also referred to as the false prophet. Revelations 19:20 says : “The beast was taken

prisoner, together with the false prophet who had performed miracles in his presence. (It was by those

miracles that he had deceived those who had the mark of the beast and those who had worshiped the image

of the beast.) The beast and the false prophet were both thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with

sulfur.”

Revelations 20:10 says : Then the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur,

where the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown; and they will be tormented day and night

forever and ever. Even Jesus speaks of the false prophet in John 10:8 “All others who came before me are

thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them”. So we can define this second beast as a human

being who is a leader and a false prophet as he deceives the people into worshipping the first Beast.

Will all these really happen?

Many people have feigned ignorance of all these as though it is fairy tale. But what does Revelations 1.1

say “This book is the record of the events that Jesus Christ revealed. God gave him this revelation in order

to show to his servants what must happen very soon. Christ made these things known to his servant John

by sending his angel to him”. I'm sure this is very clear.

Jesus Christ told us he is coming soon and we still await him 2000 years afterwards. He also mentioned

that these things will happen soon yet we are still waiting after 2000 years. Matthew 24:34-35 tells us

“Remember that all these things will happen before the people now living have all died. 35 Heaven and

earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away”

So his words cannot fail because he is not just man, he is also truly God. So, for those who decide to ridicule

such information, it is only at their detriment. There are so many messages and visions that have been

related concerning the last days. It is important that we take these things seriously because we do not may

know the day or the hour when they will happen.

In Conclusion

The Bible warns us not to take the mark of the beast. If we do the contrary, we will only be surrendering

our freedom and our salvation to the devil. For those who think this is a joke, then the whole of the sacred

Scripture should be a joke.

Question 1

Who then is the beast?

Answer

While some people have the conception that he exists somewhere waiting for the opportune time to assume

his role (a time known as Declaration). What I can say for certain is that the times Jesus spoke of are close

at hand.

Question 2

What then is the mark?

Answer

The mark as shown in the book of Revelations 13:18 is very clear.

It says “This calls for wisdom. Whoever is intelligent can figure out the meaning of the number of the beast,

because the number stands for the name of someone. Its number is 666”. In other words, the number or

code of the Beast is 666. It is only those who are intelligent, those who are informed and those who can

deduce the name of the beast from the code. Like we have mentioned above, the number 6 can be used for

anything that is less than Perfection. And when someone mentions 6 in three places (666) it is the superlative

of imperfection. So, 666 is a code for the Beast and can be known by only those who are intelligent. Don't

ask me if I'm intelligent.

Question 3

Is it literally a physical mark or something spiritual?

Answer

Again the scripture is very clear on this. Revelation 13:16 says: “The beast forced all the people, small and

great, rich and poor, slave and free, to have a mark placed on their right hands or on their foreheads”. I'm

sure that tells us it is a physical mark, not a spiritual mark.

Secondly, verse 17 gives us the purpose of this mark. “No one could buy or sell without this mark, that is,

the beast's name or the number that stands for the name”.This means that if the mark is not *visibly seen*,

you cannot transact any business, you cannot go to school, work, or do anything at all. The gate pass for

you to do anything is to have that mark.

Has it any thing to do with the 5G or Coronavirus vaccine?

Let me ask this question:

Is there any regulations in the world right now which if not done will limit a person’s freedom?

The closest to this kind of regulation is the wearing of face marks and the “compulsory

Vaccination” Today, you go to any public place or social gathering and it is publicly written “No Face

mask, No entry” So, if I decide that I do not want to wear face mask or be vaccinated, then my freedom

might be curtailed. Inline with verse 17 of chapter 13, anything that limits our freedom to go about our

business tilts towards the mark.

Question 4

Is it not possible that the mark can be given and yet not be visibly seen unless through technological means?

e.g scanners

Answer

Every technology has visible component that are visible to the eyes. An example is a microchip which

stores multiple data. So whether it is visible to the naked eye, visible through a microscope or scanner, the

important thing is that it is visible.

Question 5

What are the measures put in place by the Catholic Church to guide members against the mark of the beast

(666)?

Answer

The Church has given us everything to guide us against the end times. If you read about the teachings of

the Saints, the Doctors of the Church etc these things have been critically analyzed. There are visionaries

approved by the Church who have said so much about these things. Some of these include Our Lady of La

Sallete, The Fatima Apparition, The Precious Blood devotion, etc The only problem is that the present crop

of Catholics do not want to listen and Hosea 4:6 says “ My people perish for lack of knowledge”.

SPIRITUAL HUSBAND OR WIFE: DO THEY EXIST?

So one of the greatest tricks of the devil is to convince people that he doesn't exist. That way people don't

even believe in God and anything spiritual. They see everything as normal. When they are successful, they

don't see the need to thank God. When they have a problem, they seek scientific help. They don't consider

that God has an answer for everything because nothing happens on earth without His permission

So this post above actually necessitated this topic. Going over the Internet, I saw that it has been distributed

everywhere as the Truth. Father claims that Spiritual husbands or wife don't exist.

But reading this, I find that there is absolutely no justification for what he said earlier. Rather, his only

reason for saying that they don't exist is to tell people, especially Pastors and some preachers, that there can

be several reasons for not getting married on time.

He said “The institution of Marriage is beautiful, but not everyone will get married. We must not shy away

from this fact. Some may remain single due to their own choice, some may not find whom to marry, some

may choose to remain single after losing their spouse or lover. This doesn't make them a failure”.

Then he goes further to call it a stupid idea to believe in spiritual husbands or wives: “Dear friends, in all

my years of service as a priest, there is nothing so stupid to believe as a baptised Christian having spiritual

husband. If you have been held under this belief, get yourself freed from it now!”

Now let me begin by saying that father is less than ten years in the Priesthood. So, if he hasn't seen, then

let him wait till he has gotten to an advanced stage in his ministry.

Secondly, Father is not a trained exorcist. If he doesn't know or has not seen it, it is possible. In Nigeria, I

doubt if we have Priests that are trained exorcists. Exorcists have good knowledge about demons and

spiritual beings more than any average Priest. So, that you are a Priest doesn't mean you can just have such

information.

Thirdly, spiritual husbands or wives are demons. Saying that he doesn't believe in them is like saying he

doesn't believe in the existence of demons or even Satan. In baptism, what do we say:

The Priest: Do you reject Satan? And all his works? And all his pomps?

Catechumen: I do

So, if Father who was baptized and baptizes people till date doesn't believe in spiritual husbands and wives,

how can he still say this during baptism?

Fourthly, there are different ways demons get attached to us. Some can be by possession, others can be by

obsession. Father Amorth, a skilled Exorcists answers this:

“This second category can take six different forms:

1. External physical pain caused by Satan . We know of this from many lives of the saints. We know that

Saint Paul of the Cross, the Cure of Ars, Padre Pio, and many others were beaten, flogged, and pummeled

by demons. This external form of persecution does not affect the soul; there- lore with this type there has

never been the need for an exorcism, only for prayers. Here I will dwell only on the other types of actions

that directly affect exorcists.

2. Demonic possession. This occurs when Satan takes full possession of the body (not the soul); he speaks

and acts without the knowledge or consent of the victim, who therefore is morally blameless. It is the gravest

and most spectacular form of demonic afflictions, and it attracts the attention of producers of movies such

as The Exorcist. According to the Ritual for exorcisms, some of the signs of possession include: speaking

in tongues, extraordinary strength, and revealing the unknown. The man of Gerasa is a clear Gospel example

of possession. To fix a set “model” for demonic possession would be a serious mistake; the affliction runs

the gamut of symptoms and severity. For instance, I have exorcised two totally possessed persons who

remained perfectly still and silent during the exorcism. I could cite many other examples and as many

different symptoms.

3. Diabolical oppression. Symptoms vary from a very serious to a mild illness. There is no possession,

loss of consciousness, or involuntary action and word. The Bible gives us many examples of oppression;

one of them is Job. He was not possessed, but he lost his children, his goods, and his health. The bent

woman and the deaf and dumb man who were cured by Jesus were not subject to total possession, but there

was a demonic presence that caused physical discomfort. Saint Paul was most certainly not possessed by

a demon, but he had a demonic oppression that caused an evil affliction: “And to keep me from being too

elated by the abundance of revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to harass

me” (2 Cor 12:7). There is no doubting the evil origin of the affliction. While possessions are still relatively

rare today, we exorcists run into a great number of people who have been struck by the devil in their health,

jobs, or relationships. We must make it clear that to diagnose and heal an oppression-related illness is not

any easier than to diagnose and cure a person afflicted by full possession. The degree of gravity may be

different, but the difficulty of the diagnosis and the amount of time involved in healing are the same.

4. Diabolic obsession. Symptoms include sudden attacks, at times ongoing, of obsessive thoughts,

sometimes even rationally absurd, but of such nature that the victim is unable to free himself. Therefore the

obsessed person lives in a perpetual state of prostration, desperation, and attempts at suicide. Almost always

obsession influences dreams. Some people will say that this is evidence of mental illness, requiring the

services of a psychiatrist or a psychologist. The same could be said of all other forms of demonic

phenomena. Some symptoms, however, are so inconsistent with known illnesses that they point with

certainty to their evil origins. Only an expert and well-trained eye can identify the crucial differences.

5. Diabolic infestation. Infestations affect houses, things, or animals. This book will only mention the

topic. I merely want to state that I will never use this term when I refer to persons. I will always talk about

possession, oppression, and obsession.

6. Diabolical subjugation, or dependence. People fall into this form of evil when they voluntarily submit

to Satan. The two most common forms of dependence are the blood pact with the devil and the consecration

to Satan. How can we defend ourselves from all these evils? A strict interpretation of the Ritualconfines the

use of exorcisms only to instances of true possession. However, as I stated before, the current Ritual fails

to address many occasions in which an exorcist diagnoses an evil influence. In all cases when there is no

possession, the usual means to obtain grace should be sufficient. These means are prayer; the sacraments;

almsgiving; leading a Christian life; pardoning offenses; and soliciting the aid of our Lord, Mary, the saints,

and the angels. I will now say a few words about the angels. I gladly end this chapter on the devil, Christ’s

adversary, by speaking about the angels. They are our great allies. We owe them a great debt, and it is a

mistake to mention them as rarely as we do. Every one of us has a guardian angel, most faithful of friends

twenty-four hours a day, from conception to death. He unceasingly protects us, body and soul, while we,

for the most part, never think about him. We also know that each nation has its particular guardian angel

and, probably, every community and family, although we are not certain on the two last points. We know,

however, that the angels are a multitude, and their desire to help us is much greater than Satan’s desire to

destroy us. So spiritual husbands and wives falls within the category of obsession and possession. When a

demon is obsessing you, it affects everything that you work on so that you don't get the result. So, you keep

praying for something and you are not getting it. Or you enter a relationship and before you know what is

happening things begin to crumble and then you jump to another one. Or you keep going for different

interviews and the job is not coming or the one that comes isn't your what you want. These are examples

of obsession. Possession is a higher form because at this point, the demon is living and acting with the

individual.”

There are degrees of possession. The deeper the demon gets into the person or the number of demon the

person has the higher the degree.

There are several ways that one can become possessed by demons.

1. Your Clothing

If you are one that dresses seductively to attract men, you will also attract demons because the more you

make people fall into sin, the more you win more souls for them. So they will possess you.

2. Places you Visit

Beaches, Cinemas, Parties, Swimming pool, etc are placed where demons gather to get new bodies. And

people go to these places with the intention of relaxing. And in their relaxed mood, they don't think of good

things but bad things. And then they get bad spirits to take home with them.

3. Friends

That person that is a constant occasion of sin to you is also a store house of Demons. So anytime you go to

see him or her, you end up committing sin either by gossiping, slandering, sexual intercourse, etc. It is better

you cut such person off else the person will pass the evil spirit in him or her to you.

4. Movies/Songs

This is the easiest way people become possessed today because the devil has found a way to make for you

to Blaspheme, curse, arouse your sexual feelings, think of money, etc just by watching movies or singing

songs. So one day I heard a small boy of four singing "You go chop my money" And the question I asked

is : Which money? 99% of songs now are about three things: Sex, Love and Money that is what the devil

is using to deceive the world today. Yet, people dance and sing these songs and say they don't mean

anything. Then you must be a fool. A person will not sit down to compose such songs and it will mean

nothing. He means it my friend! So, for each time you sing those songs or watch such videos you invite a

demon to yourself.

So, I wonder how with all these, Father will still say that Spiritual husbands or wives don't exist.

They do.

We can only get rid of them by doing the following:

• Fervent Prayers

• Continuous Reception of Holy Communion: Not Communion in the hand but in the mouth and in

a state of grace.

• Practicing Virtue

• Inviting an Exorcist

• Running from sin and shunning occasions of Sins

Note: An exorcist is different from a Priest or pastor that does deliverance. The Church rubrics on how

exorcism should be done just as we have rubrics on how the Mass should be celebrated.

With these, one can overcome spiritual wives and husbands and all other demons.

But why isn't there enough exorcists?

Because Bishops aren't interested in that area. A Bishop is the Chief Exorcist in his Diocese. He only needs

to appoint Priests to assist him. Plus the church knows about all these demonic possession. We can also do

so by talking to our Priests and asking them. But the sad part of it is that many Priests didn't get the Power

of exorcizing demons at their ordination. So unless they are given conditional ordination and power by a

Bishop then they cannot do it. Many of these words were removed from the rubrics of ordination used

today. So unless the Bishop uses the Traditional Latin ordination rubrics, he may not be able to give them

the faculty for exorcism.

In conclusion

Mark 9:27-28 says: “And when he was come into the house, his disciples secretly asked him: Why could

we not cast him out? And he said to them: This kind can go out by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Questions and Comments

Philip: Haven gone through this and the teaching tonight, I think there's a misconception here. The priest

doesn't disagree with the opinion that demons exit. Rather he said, That it is foolish for a baptized person

to believe he or she is under the influence of one spiritual husband. This to me is true because baptism is

the greatest form of any exorcism. Through the sacrament one is completely freed from Satan, except such

a person goes back to evil ways. .

Stanley: So after baptism a person cannot be possessed again?

Philip: Sure the person can. I stated clearly.

Stanley: So what are you saying? Abi you want to do another baptism for the person?

Philip: Read my last line.

Stanley: Obviously we will sin. So what happens? Each sin, a demon possesses us. So I don't understand

what you are saying. Please clarify,

Philip: You're not understanding what the priest is saying. You're misquoting an ordained Priest of God,

making it look like he doesn't know what he was saying.

Stanley: You've not said anything.

Philip: The priest didn't say he has spent 10yrs or less than 10yrs. Rather he said in his several years. How

did you know he is less than 10yrs in priesthood ?.

Stanley: He was ordained in 2015. He celebrated his first year in my Parish in 2016. I know him

Philip: Great! I can't say anything further. I agree with the analysis that you gave to prove the existence of

demons and possession. But I am still waiting for the proof of a demonic husband or wife or children. And

who says he must have spent more than a decade before he knows about demons ?

Stanley: Ahn ahn. Are demonic husbands or wives a different breed? It's just like saying you believe in

trees but I should prove the existence of pawpaw trees. What he said was time bound and I used time bound

logic too bro.

is one of the five generals of the devil. Also responsible for destroying marriage. From the snares of the

 SPIRITUAL HUSBAND OR WIFE: DO THEY EXIST?(Part 2)

So last week we concluded that Demons exist. However, today we shall now peruse into the nature of

Spiritual husband and wife.

In Matthew 22:30 Jesus said “For in the resurrection they shall neither marry nor be married, but shall be

as the angels of God in heaven”. This speaks of the nature of spirits. The Fallen Angels that joined Lucifer

in hell are also spirits.They are neither male or female just as we cannot say Archangel Michael is male or

female.

Now, since spirits are neither male or female, how then do we speak of Spiritual husband and wife? This

can happen in two forms:

1. Covenant.

2. Possession

This does not only happen in an evil way, it also happens in a good way because we know that the devil

often does things to mimic God. Mary is called the spouse of the Holy Ghost because the child she had

(Jesus Christ) is by the power of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 1:20 tells us “But while he thought on these

things, behold the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in his sleep, saying: Joseph, son of David, fear not to

take unto thee Mary thy wife, for that which is conceived in her, is of the Holy Ghost”.

The devil also mimics this action but not in the same way. What he does is to assume human flesh to bring

about children. Genesis 6:2-4 says “The sons of God seeing the daughters of men, that they were fair, took

to themselves wives of all which they chose. And God said: My spirit shall not remain in man forever,

because he is flesh, and his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. Now giants were upon the earth in

those days. For after the sons of God went into the daughters of men, and they brought forth children, these

are the mighty men of old, men of renown”. This is what we call a covenant.

Because there is an intercourse between both persons. Sometimes too, when women who have not given

birth seek help from all these devilish mediums, the children they receive are a result of the intercourse with

the spirit. Either the medium does it himself or the spirit uses someone else or the person is given something

to take which will aid the intercourse. When such happens, that person has entered into a covenant with the

spirit.

The covenant also occurs when the person has sexual intercourse with someone other than his or her spouse.

Sexual intercourse is a covenant and that is why it is only blessed within marriage. So when people have

sexual intercourse with someone that is not their partner, they enter into a covenant with them. And there

are demons for every Sin. The Archdemon of Lust is Asmodeus. https://mythology.net/demons/asmodeus/

When we read the book of Tobit 6:14-22 we will understand this better. Asmodeus has legions of demons

in his control. And for each sin of Lust we commit, a new one enters us because we have struck a covenant.

To make matters worse, you don't need to have sexual intercourse with a lady before you enter this covenant

with Asmodeus and his demons.Matthew 5:28 says “But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman

to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart”.

So, as many as you Lust over whether by admiring her, liking her shape etc you are entering a covenant

with Asmodeus.

On the second part, possession: Many people are possessed with demons and they don't know they are.

Fr Amorth defines it as such

Demonic possession. This occurs when Satan takes full possession of the body (not the soul); he

speaks and acts without the knowledge or consent of the victim, who therefore is morally blameless.

It is the gravest and most spectacular form of demonic afflictions, and it attracts the attention of

producers of movies such as The Exorcist. According to the Ritual for exorcisms, some of the signs

 of possession include: speaking in tongues, extraordinary strength, and revealing the unknown. The

man of Gerasa is a clear Gospel example of possession. To fix a set “model” for demonic possession

would be a serious mistake; the affliction runs the gamut of symptoms and severity. For instance, I

have exorcised two totally possessed persons who remained perfectly still and silent during the

exorcism. I could cite many other examples and as many different symptoms. But there are different

levels of possession. With this one, the person is still able to control his or actions. Once you become

possessed, the person becomes the sex toy of the spiritual being. So when people ask: Is there a real

marriage for us to say such person is having a spiritual husband or wife? We answer that there is

no marriage like we have in the world. If there is going to be marriage or so then it will be done in

the Spiritual realm. Such person may even dream about it.

St Catherine of Siena also had such privileged. She was given a wedding ring by Our Lord. Even the Virgins

that are Consecrated to Our Lord are given wedding rings symbolizing that they are married to our Lord.

The devil does his own. He chooses people who are Instrumental to him and possesses them.

Do they bear Children?

Like I mentioned, it is possible. They can animate flesh. But one can also have children in the spirit realm.

It is such children that are readily sent to the world when people request for children from these devilish

mediums.

To doubt that one can have children in the Spiritual realm is to doubt that there is a spiritual realm. Daniel

10:12-13 tells us “And he said to me: Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thy heart to

understand, to afflict thyself in the sight of thy God, thy words have been heard: and I am come for thy

words. But the prince of the kingdom of the Persians resisted me one and twenty days: and behold Michael,

one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there by the king of the Persians”.

The Angel that said this was obviously not talking of a physical realm. He was speaking of a spiritual realm.

In Conclusion

Spiritual Husband or Wife is real and we must understand that we can get such either through possession

or through entering a covenant. On both levels we can only get rid of them if we go for confession first and

follow-up with proper exorcism.

 ARE ANGELS HIGHER THAN HUMANS?

I've been privileged to witness many debates on this topic. While there are arguments on both sides, it is

important to know the right teaching- the teaching of the Church. Because Angels are made of fire, are in

Heaven and we pray to them seeking their intercession has led people to conclude that Angels are higher

than humans. While some others hold that although Angels were created higher than humans, they are

created to serve man. And through the merits of the Second person of the Blessed Trinity who is both God

and Man, has made Human nature to be higher than Angels.

It is on this note we shall dovetail into the various arguments pros and cons for this issue.

But first, let us understand the meaning and role of Angels.

What are Angels?

 • An angel is a supernatural being in various Circum-Mediterranean religions. Abrahamic religions

often depict them as benevolent celestial intermediaries between God and humanity. Other roles

include protectors and guides for humans, and servants of God

• Angels are spiritual beings created by God to serve Him. They are very powerful beings who

function as God's messengers_

• Angels are spirit beings (Hebrews 1:14) and do not have physical bodies.

From the above, definitions we can deduce the following:

1. Spiritual Beings

2. Powerful beings

3. Intermediaries between God and Man

4. Servants of God

5. Protector of Humans.

Angels as Spiritual Beings

The Angels are not humans so they don't have a human body. They are spirits. But when they appear to us,

they seem to come in human form. This is what we can see in Tobit 5:4 “Tobias then went out to look for

someone who knew the way to Media and would travel with him. Almost as soon as he left the house, he

found himself face-to-face with Raphael. Tobias did not know that Raphael was an angel of God.”

But they are spirits. Hebrews 1:14 says “What are the angels, then? They are spirits who serve God and are

sent by him to help those who are to receive salvation.” Just as the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary in Luke

1:28 even while she was in her house, so also did he leave the house without passing through the door.

Angels as Powerful Beings

We see the might of Angels in their conquest and battle. 2 Kings 19:35 says “That night an angel of the

Lord went to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 soldiers. At dawn the next day there they lay, all dead”.

It was also the Angels that caused the burning of Sodom And Gomorrah as seen in Genesis 19.

In Daniel 10:13 we see that the Angels do not have equal strength: “The angel prince of the kingdom of

Persia opposed me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief angels, came to help me, because I

had been left there alone in Persia.”

Angels as Intermediaries between God and Man

When God wants to communicate with Man, He sends his Angels. We see this in Luke 1:11&26. Here God

sends Angel Gabriel to Zachariah and Mary.

Even in the old testament when the Israelites had Prophets, it was the Angels that God used to bring his

messages to them. Since these Angels are pure beings made of fire and light, they are the only ones that can

stand in the presence of God in heaven.

Angels as Servants of God

God made the Angels to serve Him the same way He made man to serve Him.

Exodus 23:23 says “My angel will go ahead of you and take you into the land of the Amorites, the Hittites,

the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, and I will destroy them.”

There are Angels for different purposes. There are Seraphims, Cherubims, Thrones, Choirs, Virtues,

Principalities, Powers, etc. Each of them have their own functions and duties as Servants of God.

The CCC states

329 St. Augustine says: "'Angel' is the name of their office, not of their nature. If you seek the name of their

nature, it is 'spirit'; if you seek the name of their office, it is 'angel': from what they are, 'spirit', from what

they do, 'angel.'" With their whole beings the angels are servants and messengers of God. Because they

"always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven" they are the "mighty ones who do his word,

hearkening to the voice of his word

So they have different offices and duties as Servants of the Most High God.

Angels as Protectors of Humans

Every human being has a Guardian Angel whose duty it is to protect us. Just as we have demons lucking

all-around us, we also have Angels whose duties are to fight against the unseen dangers against the evil

ones.

When the Angel appeared to the little children at Fatima in 1916, He said"... I am her guardian Angel, the

Angel of Portugal".

This means that there are Guardian Angels for everything and anything created by God. There is even a

guardian Angel for Catholic Faith and Traditions. Acts 12:15 says “You are crazy!” they told her. But she

insisted that it was true. So they answered, “It is his angel.”

These are the features of Angels as explained above. So let's look at Man.

What is Man?

Now, there are various definitions of man as every facet of life tries to look at man from its own perspective.

But let's look at Man from the aspect of religion.

The CCC defined Man as a being that “...occupies a unique place in creation: (I) he is "in the image of

God"; (II) in his own nature he unites the spiritual and material worlds; (III) he is created "male and female";

(IV) God established him in his friendship.” This means that Man was created with a body and a soul.

Man as Created in the Image of God

In Genesis 1:26, God said “And now we will make human beings; they will resemble us. They will have

power over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small.”

Man was created to be like God. But what does this Image mean? Does it mean that God is also human?

The CCC states

357 Being in the image of God the human individual possesses the dignity of a person, who is not just

something, but someone. He is capable of self-knowledge, of self-possession and of freely giving himself

and entering into communion with other persons. And he is called by grace to a covenant with his Creator,

to offer him a response of faith and love that no other creature can give in his stead.

All other creatures created by God don't have the power and ability to have faith, love, hope and rationally

make a choice and be free. God has Dominion over everything that is why he gave this same power to man.

He made Adam the head and asked him to give names to all the Animals: He blessed them, and said, “Have

many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth and bring it under their control. I am

putting you in charge of the fish, the birds, and all the wild animals. Genesis 1:28

Man as an embodiment of Flesh and Spirit

Man possesses body and soul. He is both physical and spiritual. He has a material and mental being. With

his physical embodiment, he can relate with nature and with his spiritual embodiment he can relate with the

Divine.

God who created physical entities such as mountains, seas, animals, the Sun etc also created air, Angels,

etc that the naked eye cannot see. Man also cannot see his soul but can see and feel his body.

The CCC states 362 The human person, created in the image of God, is a being at once corporeal and

spiritual. The biblical account expresses this reality in symbolic language when it affirms that "then the

LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man

became a living being."229 Man, whole and entire, is therefore willed by God.

In Genesis 2:7, we see the way God infused the soul into the human body: “Then the Lord God took some

soil from the ground and formed a man out of it; he breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man

began to live.

This means that the soul is the Life given force of man. Without it in the body, man is nothing.

Man As Male and Female

Genesis 1:27 already tells us that God created Man male and female. This means that Man was made into

two kinds. But this is according to our flesh although no one can say if spirits are male or female. But

judging from the words of Christ, they don't. Matthew 22:30 says “For when the dead rise to life, they

will be like the angels in heaven and will not marry.

So if they will not marry, it means that there is no sex or gender classification there

Now, looking at these features mentioned for Humans and those for Angels, are they equal?

1. Angels are made of Fire and Light while humans are made in the Image and likeness of God

An Angel can look at Man, but man cannot look at Angels as they really are. They will only appear in

Human form so we can easily see them

2. Angels are Servants of God and Guardians of Humans, while Humans are Children of God

Psalm 8:5 says that *you made them inferior only to yourself;you crowned them with glory and honor.*

Man was made inferior only to God. By the virtue of our Baptism we become adopted Children of God

Romans 8:15 says “For the Spirit that God has given you does not make you slaves and cause you to be

afraid; instead, the Spirit makes you God's children, and by the Spirit's power we cry out to God, “Father!

my Father!” Even Jesus says he calls us friends and not servants as seen in John 15:15

3. Angels are created to serve Man as they served Jesus on earth.

In Matthew 2:14-15 Jesus said: Suddenly a great army of heaven's angels appeared with the angel, singing

praises to God: “Glory to God in the highest heaven,and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!”

In Hebrews 1:6, it says “But when God was about to send his first-born Son into the world, he said,“All of

God's angels must worship him.” It's not enough to show that one is higher than the other. This difference

is Not so much in level than it is in God's creative process.

In Conclusion

CCC 343 Man is the summit of the Creator's work, as the inspired account expresses by clearly

distinguishing the creation of man from that of the other creatures.211 344 There is a solidarity among all

creatures arising from the fact that all have the same Creator and are all ordered to his glory: May you be

praised, O Lord, in all your creatures, especially brother sun, by whom you give us light for the day; he is

beautiful, radiating great splendor, and offering us a symbol of you, the Most High.
