with Sour. In 2023, Rodrigo released her second
studio album, Guts, supported by the singles
"Vampire" and "Bad Idea Right?".

Sour (stylized in all caps) is the debut
studio album by American singer-songwriter
Olivia Rodrigo. It was released on May 21,
2021, by Geffen Records. The album was
primarily written by Rodrigo and producer
Dan Nigro, with additional writing credits
being given to Taylor Swift, Hayley
Williams, Josh Farro, Jack Antonoff, St.
Vincent, and Casey Smith. Originally
planned as an EP, Sour was expanded into a
full-length album following the viral
success of Rodrigo's debut single,
"Drivers License".
GUTS
Guts (stylized in all caps) is the second
studio album by American singer-songwriter
Olivia Rodrigo, released on September 8,
2023, via Geffen Records. It was written
and recorded with Rodrigo working closely
alongside Dan Nigro, the producer and
multi-instrumentalist of her debut album
Sour (2021). Inspired by the period of
time immediately following Sour's success,
Rodrigo conceived Guts hoping to reflect
the process of maturity she experienced
toward the end of her teenage years

Rodrigo announced the title of her second
album, Guts, which was released on September
8, 2023; she released the album's lead single,
"Vampire", on June 30.[63][64] Rodrigo
described the album as about "growing pains"
and figuring out who she is at this point in
her life. She felt like she grew "10 years"
between the ages of 18 and 20, a process she
describes as a natural part of "growth", which
she hopes to reflect with the record.
"Vampire" became her third single to debut
atop the Billboard Hot 100.
