Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic However the Lord has been good and all our needs are being provided for. S e c o n d l y, w e received two of Jessicas closest friends, who stayed with us 4 days. One of those days we all decided to do this 27 waterfall (27 Charcos) excursion of jumping off waterfalls! So fun. Thirdly, we had with us Keith Onishi (in the group pic above), the director of all campus ministry for all latin countries. (My boss boss boss.. hes an important guy). Keith helped us clear up our working structure with our national staff, as well as improve our strategic methods of reaching our campus for Christ. He was an incredibly huge help. Fourthly, Jeremiah Kepner (see have you met) paid us a visit to check-up on us. The Spirit seriously worked through him as he provided great shepherding and care to us, and successfully refreshed us spiritually. I love how Cru cares for its staff serving overseas. Fifthly, we enjoyed our KickBall outreach, where we saw 10+ new students, and more than 30 who heard the gospel. Lastly, I was invited to be a guest speaker at a church retreat and had the opportunity to preach! Theme of the retreat was Transformados Por Cristo.
Ministry Update
October has single-handedly been the BUSIEST month we have experienced yet! Allow me to give you the brief breakdown of all thats happened. Firstly, at the beginning of the month, the girls FINALLY got electricity after 12 straight days without it (thanks to all of you who remembered to pray). However, the day they received electricity was the day us guys lost ours & gas (only 6 days).

Dont Be a Pack-Mule
Jeremiah pointed out my tendency to take EVERY responsibility upon myself and do everything on my own. He knows I do it to serve my team. Truth is, it does the opposite. Its a disservice. Delegation communicates trust & ownership. It undermines my pride that never wants to let others serve me. It provides relief. Prevents burning myself out. Dont be a pack-mule. Delegate. Allow people to help. Trust.
