is the abbreviation of Bangtan Sonyeondan which
translates into English as "bulletproof guys."

Also known as Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean group formed in 2010.

Formed by:

• Jin (진) – vocalist, model, dancer

• Suga (슈가) – rapper, model, dancer
• J-Hope (제이홉) – rapper, dancer
• RM – leader, rapper, dancer
• Jimin (지민) – vocalist, dancer, model
• V (뷔) – vocalist, model, actor, dancer
• Jungkook (정국) – vocalist, dancer, model

Despite having been created with a mainly hip hop style, it has come to
incorporate a wide variety of genres into its musical repertoire.
BTS debuted on 06/13/2013 under Big Hit Entertainment with the single
album 2 Cool 4 Skool. A year later he released his first studio albums in
Korean and Japanese, Dark & Wild and Wake Up respectively. His second
studio album, Wings (2016), was the first of his albums to sell more than a
million copies in South Korea. By 2017 he entered the global music market as
the main promoter of the Korean wave, especially in the United States. He
was the first Korean artist to receive a certification from the Recording
Industry Association of America (RIAA), with his single "MIC Drop", and to
top the Billboard 200 chart, with his album Love Yourself: Tear (2018).

In 2020 became one of the few groups to have four number one albums in
the US in less than two years. BTS has been considered the "biggest boy
band in the world,"421 in addition to receiving other nicknames and
descriptions by various media, including "Princes of Pop" by Time magazine
and "the biggest and most successful K-pop artist in the world." world" that

MUSIC AND LYRICS STYLE
BTS writes and produces the majority of their songs, which has been pointed
out by some media as the key to their success.388389 Since their debut, the
group has been praised for "speaking honestly about issues they consider
