Thank you for using Baboon VST plugin.
We tried to make this simple effect as precise and
musical as possible, so we hope you enjoy playing it.
Baboon is inspired by a real analogue pedal that is in
fact two effects in one. The trebles Booster part actually
bypasses the fuzz and tone stages, and the Fuzz channel
gives you access to the full circuit, providing a bold fuzz
sound. The Tone control let you switch between a
standard hi frequency shelving control and a scooped
tone that gives a heavy sound.

Main interface - Fuzz “Sustain” knob

Sets the input gain for the Fuzz channel.
General parameters
The top bar of the screen displays the output level - Fuzz “Tone” knob
meter, mono/stereo switch and the help menu that will Let you adjust the tone for the fuzz channel.

frequency range above 1,2 kHz.
Effect parameters
Mode B : the tone knob will adjust the volume of the
- On/Off switch frequency range above 7 kHz.

- Treble Booster “Adjustment” knob Let you change fuzz tone stack mode between A and B.

Sets the input gain for the Treble booster channel. - Fuzz “Volume” knob

Automation
All parameters can be automated by right clicking the
knobs/switches. Then you can choose to use “midi learn”,
set the midi controller manually or “unlearn”.
This makes it very easy to control the plugin through a
midi interface or to automate it on a sequencer's track.
To know how to route midi to the plugin, please refer
to your VST host user manual.
Demo limitations
• no stereo mode
• automation only on “volume” and “on/off”
• sound drops every 60 seconds or so
