Significance: Students will actively search for examples of verbs, adjectives, and
adverbs in their environment, reinforcing their understanding of these parts of speech.
Instructions:
1) Divide the class into small groups.
2) Give each group a scavenger hunt worksheet.
3) Instruct the groups to find examples of verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in their
surroundings.
4) After a set amount of time, have the groups come together to share their findings.
