The topic that I choose are:

1. Ethnic minorities of Vietnam have limited access to education

2. Brain drain: Vietnam is losing its most talented people through increased interest
in international study programs.
3. Young people are not interested in traditional crafts.
After reading some problems that Ms.Anna gave, I chose the second topic
which was called “Brain drain: Vietnam is losing its most talented people through
increased interest in international study programs”. The reason why I chose that is
because to me brain drain is a global problem, not just in Vietnam. According to
the doctor of Le Dynasty said that: “Talented and moral people are the core of the
nation”; however, in Vietnam people with high social status are valued more than
talented people, who are not appreciated for the value they create. Because of this
drawback, talented people tend to seek recognition, find people who see the value
they bring, so they often choose study abroad programs to countries that help them
broaden their horizons and not be overly criticized by material and support. For
research more about this topic, I will collecting data on the number of people who
emigrate from different countries, their levels of education and qualifications and
the countries they emigrated to, analyzing government policies and programs that
aim to address brain drain and find more secondary research such as reviewing
academic literature on brain drain, including studies on its causes, consequences,,
and potential solutions, or analyzing data from international organizations such as
World Bank and the International Labour Organization on human capitals flows.
Brain drain is a complex problem with no easy solution but there are a number of
stakeholders who can potentially play a role in addressing it such as governments,
employers, and educational institutions.
