IT ABAP Developer:

 POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced candidate in ABAP RICEFW along with Good technical
skills in enhancements, ABAP OOPs and interfaces. Our SAP environment consists of:
SAP Core, SAP Web Channel, SAP-PI, SAP-TREX, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager,
SAP GRC.

The SAP ABAP Developer reports to the Development Lead as part of our SAP Center
of Excellence (CoE).This role will apply proven communication, analytical, and
problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

PRIMARY DUTIES

o Understanding of Functional specification and writing skills technical

specification.
o Development with high quality code along with associated documentation
adhering to team and departmental development standards with ABAP and
ABAP OO (ABAP Objects).
o Need expertise over RICEFW along with Interfaces, EDI, Proxies, Web
Services.
o Works on SAP Upgrades, Rollouts and projects acc. to the SAP Roadmap
o Strong experience with all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design,
programming, testing, support) and ability to conceptualize, analyze issue and
deliver solutions
o Knowledge over e-document cockpit adds value the role
o Close working together with our functional SAP application managers COE
(Center of Excellence) and our SAP Basis team
o Keep abreast of SAP functionality that are available in the current and future
releases
o Works on support requests, handles break fixes in a prioritized manner
o Need to have strong communication skills (both written & verbal) to deal with
onshore team members.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
o Bachelor’s Degree in IT or comparable IT education
o 5 to 8 years of experience in IT ABAP development area with Web Dynpro and
ABAP OO.
o Support during Add-on installations and applying OSS Notes.
o Understanding of functional areas and interaction between the areas
o Experience with TMS, HPQC and SAP Solution Manager
 o Business acumen and problem-solving skill
o Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
