You have been awarded a scholarship from the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate
Scholarship Program (JJWBGSP) (the “Scholarship Program”). As in past years, competition for
these awards was extremely rigorous. Yours selection by the Scholarship Program Steering
Committee attests to our confidence in your outstanding ability and potential to help accelerate
the pace of economic and social development in your country. This Scholarship Program is fully
funded the by the Government of Japan.

This scholarship is awarded for the following study program:

University: Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
Program: Master´s degree in Magister en Economia
Scholarship Period: August 2015 to July 2017

This scholarship is not transferable to any other university or any other degree of study and is
awarded for the duration of the Scholarship Period as stated above. The university will keep us
informed of the progress of your studies. If you accept this scholarship offer, you must sign the
attached acceptance form and return it within three (3) business days from the date of this letter.
If we do not receive confirmation of acceptance by the date, the scholarship offer will be
withdrawn. If your study program begins or ends on dates other than those indicated above, you
are responsible to contact the Scholarship Program Secretariat (The “Secretariat”) within three (3)
business days to inform us the correct dates, and your scholarship will be adjusted accordingly.

¡Enhorabuena! Usted ha sido galardonado con una beca del Programa de Becas de Posgrado
Conjunto Japón / Banco Mundial (JJWBGSP) (el "Programa de Becas"). Como en años anteriores, la
competencia por estos premios era extremadamente riguroso. Selección saluda por el Comité
Directivo del Programa de Becas da fe de nuestra confianza en su capacidad excepcional y el
potencial para ayudar a acelerar el ritmo de desarrollo económico y social de su país. Este
programa de becas está financiado en su totalidad el por el Gobierno de Japón.

Esta beca se otorga para el programa de estudio siguiente:

Universidad: Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
Programa: Maestría en Magister en Economia
Becas Período: agosto 2015 a julio 2017

Esta beca no es transferible a cualquier otra universidad o cualquier otro grado de estudio y se
concede por la duración del período de la beca como se ha dicho. La universidad mantenernos
informados de la marcha de sus estudios. Si acepta esta oferta de becas, usted debe firmar el
formulario de aceptación adjunto y devolverlo en un plazo de tres (3) días hábiles desde la fecha
de esta carta. Si no recibimos la confirmación de aceptación por parte de la fecha, la oferta de
becas será retirado. Si su programa de estudio comienza o termina en fechas distintas a las
indicadas anteriormente, usted es responsable de contactar a la Secretaría de Becas del Programa
(La "Secretaría") dentro de los tres (3) días hábiles para informarnos las fechas correctas, y se
ajustará su beca en consecuencia.
CONDITIONS OF SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship will be awarded with the following conditions:

This scholarship is pending or receiving: (i) the employment certification from the current or
former employer of the scholar with official seal indicating the scholar’s job title and showing that
scholar has at least two (2) years recent experience in development-related activities; and (ii) a
recent (less than 3 months) certified/authenticated health certificate.

The Scholar will not seek or accept employment from the World Bank for period of three (3) years
after completion of the scholarship

Esta beca está pendiente o receptora: (i) la certificación de empleo por parte del empleador actual
o anterior del erudito con sello oficial indicando título del trabajo del erudito y demostrando que
estudioso tiene por lo menos dos (2) años experiencia reciente en las actividades relacionadas con
el desarrollo; y (ii) una reciente (menos de 3 meses) certificó certificado de salud / autenticado.
