Yes, a brilliant answer. Do work and remain position.

D. Discussing new concept and practicing

new skills #1
So, now let us discuss you about the two
kinds of energy, which is Kinetic Energy
and potential Energy.
KINETIC ENERGY – energy that
possesses due its motion. It is defined as the
work needed to accelerate a body of a given
mass from rest to its stated velocity.

POTENTIAL ENERGY – is the energy

that possessed by a body due to its position
or condition. It is same stored energy.

E. Discussing new concept and practicing

new skills #2
Get 1/2 sheet of paper and answer the
following.
Direction: Identify the picture tell it is
Kinetic energy or potential energy.

F. Developing Mastery
Direction: Show, that kinetic energy makes
a material work/move.

Activity 1: Oral recitation

Direction: Define the following:
1. Which of the following shows potential
energy?
2. If an object is not moving, it does not
have: _____
3. A moving object always has a: _____
4. What are two kinds of energy?
Answer key:
Activity 2: Identifying Objects 1. B
Direction: Identify the objects and tell if it is 2. A
Kinetic energy or potential energy. 3. B
4. Kinetic and potential energy
G. Finding Practical Application of
concepts and skills in daily livings.
Let's have a group activity.
I will divide you into 2 groups and finish
your work within 5 minutes.

Direction: Differentiate potential from

kinetic energy, through pictures.
