    Chinese New Year is a well-known Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of a
    new year of the Chinese calendar. It is also known as lunar New Year or the Spring
    Festival as it marks the onset of spring. The first day of Chinese New Year begins on
    the new moon day that happens between 21 January and 20 February. In 2023 the
    Chinese New Year is celebrated on 22th January commencing the Year of the Rabbit.
    Chinese New Year is an important holiday in China and the festival is also celebrated
    worldwide in regions with significant Chinese populations.
